So I caught this this morning.

First...is it possible to out-Michael Cera Michael Cera?

Jesse Feinberg said...YES.

This movie is a fun ride...misses a few opportunities but not enough to make this a waste of time. A lot of good jokes, some great laugh out loud moments ("You got a purdy mouth...") and I'm glad I watched it.

I was very hesitant...as I'm an avid "Shaun of the Dead" fan, thought this was a rip off of that along with "Near Dark" but it makes its own way and does a fine job.

Plus...I'm in love with Emma Stone. Probably the sexiest up and comer out there since Scarlet Johansson.

:D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

On a side note--blowing the cameo...kind of out of line. Knowing who it was definitely took away from the hilarity of it. But still...BM was great.

Also...Woody is an underrated comic actor.

Great stuff.

Loved the 'pop up video like' RULES for Zombies.

Nice to see Ned Scheebely working again too. Too bad he died taking a dump.

SHARK moment: that's Mike White...writer of "Freaks & Geeks", "Get a Life", and actor/writer of "The Good Girl". And yeah..."School of Rock". :)

Mike White, if I remember, from the eerie Chuck and Buck several years back.

Caught this Saturday night and then again yesterday. Even funnier the second time through.

Glad I didn't read this thread before finding out who the cameo was - made it much more interesting.

"Bill Fuck'in Murray" - outstanding.

Eisenberg while dopey and a Cera wannabe was actually pretty good. Stone definitely not hard to look at.

How 'UP!' got nominated for best picture over Zombieland is beyond my scope.

Zombieland is out on DVD this week, so check it out peoples!

One of the funniest 'horror' movies of all time.

Just picked up the Bluray yesterday, gonna try to watch it tonight, but most likely won't have time to see it till Sunday night since I think the Super Bowl sucks and need something to watch instead.

Watched this yesterday and it was pretty good. It wasn't as funny as I had hoped
but still had its moments. The 10 minutes with Murray were great though, I have to
admit. Worth a rental, just was hoping for slightly more.

i still think "shaun of the dead" is a superior movie but "zombieland" is pretty damn good. it's a solid fun movie.

Wow, I can't believe how awful this movie was. I was really expecting to like this ALOT or at least find it entertaining, but honestly I thought this was absolutely horrible. Failed as a zombie movie because it was trying to be a comedy which is fine, but it also failed as a comedy cause it just wasn't funny. Shaun of the Dead was about a 100x better than this crap.
