I'm really surprised by all of the positive comments. I thought the first 45 mins was silly. The main character was very annoying until he got "juiced" for lack of a better word. The Aliens were pretty descent but they were a bit annoying too. It was interesting enough to want to watch the whole thing but I was disappointed I spent $16 on it.

I give it 1 1/2 stars.

I liked Gran Torino and the Wrestler from this past year.

We're either one of those movies from this past year? I thought they were both 2008.

Gran Torino was good. Still looking forward to this one if for no other reason than
I like the Sci-fi movies. Hope it stands up to some that have liked it here. I'll check
it out in the next week or so.

Watched this late last night and I was really pulled into it. I liked the storyline
and the action was pretty good. Finally a sci-fi movie that was well done. I thought
the special effects were pretty good as well. There were quite a few scenes in
which I thought the aliens looked pretty realistic. Anyway, if you are a fan of the
genre I would say it is definitely worth your time. If they do make a sequel I likely
won't run right out and see it but enjoyed the original.

Finally saw this recently. It was nice to see a movie take a different angle with the plot in regards to aliens. It was a very good scifi picture and I can't say I've seen too many of those in the last 10 years. And, as after watching Lethal Weapon 2, I spent the next few days randomly speaking with a South African accent.

Fook man!

i saw this about a month ago and was pretty impressed. i don't like the sci-fi genre at all but enjoyed this movie. it even kept my gf's attention who usually falls asleep within the first hour of any movie she watches.
