Did anybody catch this? I think it was on the U or Me TV. It was the strangest show I have seen. Guests varied from Len Kasper to George Wendt to Linda Kohlmeyer to Richard Lewis. I would guesstimate there were 10 guests on the show that lasted just one hour and only had three guest seats available. Each interview lasted about 2.5-3.5 minutes. I'm not a bigfan of Meier, but I didn't really hate the show either. It was bizarre.

Newper, I saw what you were referring. It was called "The Garry Meier Special", which was inspired in part by that "Seinfeld" episode in which Michael Richards' character "Kramer" actually hosted a Merv Griffin-like talk show, and Garry mentioned it in the opening sequence. It was weird, but the WGN 720 afternoon drive host's interview special was fast moving and had quite an eclettic lineup from George Wendt of "Cheers" & former "Saturday Night Live" cast member & writer Tim Kazurinsky spinning yarn of sorts from their days at Second City, to author Bill Zehme talking about a new book he's working on based on the late, great Johnny Carson to Rich Koz at the end in his "Svengoolie" tux. It aired at 10:30p Sunday on WCIU 26 The U, but will be replayed on WWME 23 MeTV at Midnight late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. Garry's also the subject of "5 Questions" at CSNchicago.com, which "U" can link to via WCIU.com as well.
