Keaton (real name Michael Douglas) suffered the post-Batman curse. He's fantastic as Malibu Ken in Toy Story 3.

Bateman is white heat red hot the past few years. He faded after TV and Teen Wolf 2? Please... He's been very busy lately.

Moranis is another story. His wife died of liver cancer, and he decided that raising his kids was more important than another Honey I Shrunk the Kids movie. sad. From Wikipedia: Moranis explained that he "pulled out of making movies in about '96 or '97. I'm a single parent and I just found that it was too difficult to manage raising my kids and doing the traveling involved in making movies. So I took a little bit of a break. And the little bit of a break turned into a longer break, and then I found that I really didn't miss it".

Some of my favorite 'that guy actors':

Richard Jenkins. The hysterical dad from Stepbrothers who was fantastic in The Visitor (Academy Award nominated for it). He was also in a lot of the Farrelly Brothers comedies.

John Cazale. Fredo from the Godfather to name one movie. Name a bad movie the guy was in. Died way too young. Engaged to Meryl Streep who he was in the Deer Hunter with.

JT Walsh. Another dead guy. Was great in one of his last roles opposite Kurt Russell in Breakdown.

Vincent D'Onofrio. See Full Metal Jacket, The Cell, Men In Black and Salton Sea.

Lin Shaye. zany in most Farrelly Bros movies

jenkins was also the dad in six feet under. james cromwell was in it, too...and a young rainn wilson.

He was Alexander Bullock, Carole Lombard's father, in My Man Godfrey (1936), his role as Friar Tuck in The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) starring Errol Flynn and his similar role as Fray Felipe in The Mark of Zorro (1940) starring Tyrone Power.
