I don't care, I'm excited for this movie. Best trailer ever.

Totally off topic, but I got trapped into watching Over The Top last weekend. All I could think is who greenlit this shit? Stallone + arm wrestling = Academy award. I would have thrown that bitch of a kid out of the rig in the first ten minutes. 2 highlights: a small cameo by Terry Funk, and Lincoln Hawk may be the worst movie name ever.

I'm going to see it by myself. The Mrs said she'd only go with if I go see some chick flick with Julia Roberts with her.

i kinda liked it. it's not what i'd call...a good movie. stallone has this thing lately with taking a kind of heavy handed storyline and putting a little too much fluff in it.

some of the exchanges were funny; some of them were cringeworthy. jet li was godawful. steve austin was a waste.

the WINNER here is...eric roberts. seriously an awesome performance.

this is a good movie to get drunk to, i think. but its merits of filmmaking are very little.

overall i guess i did enjoy it. the music was good, the kills were decent (especially the long haired dude's end), and it was overall pretty enjoyable.

the best scene was ironically the most unnecessary, too. arnie gets brought in for absolutely no reason plotwise. and he seems to be out of shape acting wise. it was like he couldn't wipe the smile off his face when he was trying to be wry. it was nice, though. and stallone's response to "What the fuck's his problem?" by willis was priceless. Whole theatre erupted.

not quite a recommendation...but...i don't think i wasted my 8 bucks. "Marginal Thumbs Down".

i didn't think roberts' character needed any depth. he was your standard bad guy. i just liked how cool he was. he could've had a bigger part though and i would've been fine with that.

dolph was definitely creepy at times. but he's also not a very good actor at others.

"rambo" didn't really have good dialogue either. it was just a great shoot em up movie.

this movie lagged in a few spots.

Just saw this. I loved it overall, but what hurts this movie,is the "Bourne Effect." Ever since the Bourne movies, the "quick edit, who the fuck hit who" fight scene has become the norm. I am surprised that Sly uses this in his movies. It really takes away from an action movie. Also, they should have got the writers who wrote the bad guy parts from "The A-Team". Those guys had personality and humor. The big climax had too much shit blowing up, miracle the girl does not get hit  . So,in conclusion, enjoyable movie but could have been improved upon. Also, lets get over this Mickey Rourke thing. That swarthy fucker looks like he always is coming out of a bad sweat from a constipation issue. Segal should have had that role.
Statham, was very good in this, but some of the others were wasted.

 that's pretty good, jimmy.

i thought the scene where he talked about "losing his soul" was way way too deep for a movie like that. but i couldn't stop staring at the bit of drool hanging on his lip. it was pretty gross.

stallone would do well to have a sense of humor about this stuff instead of trying to be so heavy handed.

Roberts finest work of late (about 15 years ago) was one where he was a professor and Kari Wurher was his student, and she spends half the movie naked or fucking.

He's check into Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab too btw.... This upcoming season.

A few weeks ago at a subway station somewhere in Midtown Manhattan area I saw an Expendables poster that someone went nuts on with a Sharpie. The commentary next to each character was priceless. Sadly, I can't find the picture I took on my phone anymore. A memorable one was "Skandinavian Gangsta" next to Lundgren's picture.

Loved it. Went in hoping for good fight scenes and explosions and got them both. Great summer flick.

Well, after hearing all the crappy reviews, I decided to stay away from this flick... but seeing as it had no nudity and wasn't some BS movie, I brought my son to see it today.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and look forward to the sequel. They should have offed a certain Drago lookin' fellow, but I guess that leaves room him in the sequel with Van Damme, The Rock and Steven Seagel.
