For those of us that are Nightmare on Elm Street Fans this series is going on now. Part 1 was last night and they are now on to part two. Freddy was always my favorite horror character so this will be something I watch.

As a karate expert, I am watching this with you.
Also, as a karate expert, I thought freddy 2 was gay too.

Here's some fun Elm Street info for you. When Wes Craven wrote Nightmare on Elm Street, he was going to Wheaton College (perhaps apocryphal, but he did attend.) I grew up on 923 East Elm Street in Wheaton. You know who grew up in 924 East Elm Street? Jim and John Belushi. Sadly, their boyhood home has been demolished and rebuilt. But mine is still the same. And that's really exciting because I am the guy who once slept in each bedroom of the Belushi's old home.

looking at his filmography as a whole, wes craven is very overrated as a "master of horror". most of his flicks were schlocky and clunky.

most of the nightmare movies were awful. freddy was a great villain, though. and the first one is still good.

The Original Last House on the left was a HUGE disappointment when I saw it.

As a karate expert, I approve of this joke.
