I saw this mentioned in the drinky thread but I didnt want to clutter up such a well organized thread with TZ talk. I will have to go through and set up the DVR to record some episodes. Anyone remember the name of the episode where that WWI fighter pilot goes into the future and lands at a present day air base? I remember liking that one but I cant remember the name.

this is AVGN's top 10 Twilight Zone episodes:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqdlDyNcPko

i don't agree with some of them, especially his #1. I like his angle, though, and I always respect his work. He's a lot more than just "The Nerd".

To me, "Walking Distance" is a missed opportunity. Not enough focus or clear execution. A little too close to "It's a Wonderful Life"...I think it could've been more about the fact that you can't go back to the past; no one should have accepted him. He shouldn't have had to break his younger self's leg or anything or have any cause or effect. I think just him being shunned by the town and everything would have made the perfect example. And the talk with his dad was too much exposition.

I love this show, though. One of the all-time best. Even though "The Howling Man" really suffers from bad costume design and whatnot, I still think it's one of my favorite episodes of all time. I absolutely love the twist at the end, and I'm not in any way religious. I just love that it ended the way it did. Perfect.

Both are on the schedule. I went through last night and set my DVR up.
