They took a chance with Conan and that worked. Nobody knew who he was. But he was a talented writer. Fallon was a pretty boy that read the funny stuff that people wrote for him on SNL. Then he went on to have a bad comedy acting career in the movies. Fallon was never a great skit guy on SNL. You can tell if they're funny even if it's written for them. Then they moved him to the "Update Desk". That's easy. The writers give him all of that shit. No comedic acting is required to do that.

I'll give him a chance. I hope I'm wrong. I hate the guy that CBS has at 11:30.

You guys wonder why they never give these late shows to a women? Why can't we ever have a funny, beautiful women with some wit? If we had somebody with this combination they would do great ratings.

There are very few good women comedians and the funny ones are never hot. Why is that?

I think George said it best in a Seinfield episode. "Beautiful women don't have a sense of humor." He said something like that.

That being said, it's not like the male comedians are good looking. Leno, Letterman and Conan don't get the girls screaming. Not even when they were young.

As Letterman has aged he has become cute.

Sense of humor will always be one of the most attractive qualities in a person.

He's horrible at the monologue. You can actually see him reading the cards. The pros make it look like they're looking at the camera. He has no timing and his delivery sucks. He looks nervous.

They've had months to plan for this debut and these are their opeining bits? Horrible. Conan's bad bits were funnier than this.

They bring audience members on the stage to lick things and then play it back in slow motion with porn music. How is this funny?

DiNero is the show's first guest. He doesn't like to do these things. He'll probably act bored and disinterested. That's his thing. He always has to act too cool for this shit.

Still, it's DiNero. That's a good get.

paula poundstone had a show in prime time that failed. i guess they figured if she can't do it, nobody can.

I figured he was going to totally suck because he was awful on SNL and even more so after. There were alot better choices out there. Michael Ian Black would have been perfect. oh well, he will probably never get a chance cause as bad as fallon sucks he will never get fired because nbc doesn't fire snl people no matter how much they suck.

I'll watch tomorrow night b/c I have a crush on Tina Fey, but my 12:35 baby feedings and show watching will probably be with Craig Furguson for a while.

Let's see if he's gotten better. Do something funny. Please.

He's terrible at the monolouge. No timeng or delivery skills. Wow. They cut it short. He only told 3 jokes and went to his desk. They know he's bad.

He'll be fired in a year.

He's also terrible at interviewing people.

Jimmy Fallon is to comedy what O.J. is to white women

Watched his show last Friday, found it underwhelming. I think most of it's due to nerves. I don't know how long he'll last, but if he doesn't improve it won't be long.

He's still bad. This is his 8th show. Looks like my prediction was right. He's not gonna get good.
