I'll watch Four Weddings and A Funeral but I haven't in a while.

Anything with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers but that not so much embarrassing as it is appreciating something that others won't take the time to appreciate.

I like that move Ms Thomas is just perfect in the roll and looks incredible.

I also watch Vegas Vacation any time I see it on... really stupid movie, but a lot of good quotes if you watch it 80+ times.

I'd take the time to appreciate him but he's usually "OUT-ACCIDENT" before I can do so.

See, I'm funny like that - "Out - Accident" is always more entertaining than "Out - Engine".

If you know who I mean.

I'm supposed to be embarrassed to like "Garden State"? I thought it was good. I loved Lost in Translation too. Is that embarrassing?

I enjoyed King of Kong as well. And Wordplay. Both are a little on the geeky side.

Too many to list, but here's a few. Clifford, My Girl, Little Giants, American Ninja, Nothing But Trouble, Vice Versa, Solarbabies, Quicksilver, Killer Klowns From Outer Space. I could go on and on.

these lists are funny sometimes when people say they're embarrassed they like a cheesy/campy movie that's *meant* to be that way (i.e. "killer klowns" and "big trouble").

"the notebook" is a good one. that is a very sad movie.

"beaches" would be one of mine.

Good movie. Haven't seen much of Heath Ledger lately... almost like he's in hiding or something.

don't worry, he's got a movie coming out this christmas; he's probably just biding his time for next year.

thought of another one after reading dr. ken's "opinion" of it...

"love actually". great christmas movie. the hugging at the end always gets me.

Just Friends is mine I guess. It's a Ryan Reynolds romantic comedy but Anna Faris is in it and it's freakin hilarious. Guys, if you have to watch a gchick flick to get your willie wet, this is an excellent choice.

Speaking of Anna Faris, I also loved Smiley Face. Very funny.

Probably the most embarrasing movie for me is White Water Summer with Kevin Bacon and a young Sean Astin.

That movie took a pretty hardcore turn when the kids turned on Bacon and gave him a richly deserved beatdown.

Ernst Lubitsch's The Shop Around the Corner (with James Stewart in the lead role) will restore some of your dignity & masculinity.

W_Z, Beaches? Wow   :@: :bom:

This came up recently because my girlfriend accused me of entering a quarter-life crisis. I recently got HBO so we can watch Curb Your Enthusiasm and a lot of old, embarrasing favorites have been playing. Titles, followed by one line reviews:

Apollo 13 - Meters, engineering, superficial period details, and space.
Snatch - (Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels would be on my list, as well) British people, boxing, fashion mainstays of the late 1990's, and gunplay.
The Matrix - This is a clear example of the dissonance between subjective, personal appreciation and objective, critical/contextual assessment.
The Hammer - I didn't see it until just recently and it's obviously a very bad movie, but it had some nice touches and some redeeming value in the overall plot. Also includes boxing and fashion mainstays of the late 1990's (thanks, Adam Carolla).
