What's your expectations? I got all the seasons for Christmas, and trying to run through them before the 20th. I had never seen the show, but it's been solid. I've ran through the first 3 seasons, and I'm 2 episodes into the 4th.

Justified is great. Top 4-6 show ever in my book.

Can't wait to see the last season. Won't speculate since you aren't caught up.

But I think the last season is setting up for a classic old West showdown.

Hoping for a solid final season. Raylan has been one of the better characters on TV the last 5 years or so.

Boyd Crowder is one of the greatest characters in the history of television.

Just finished getting caught up with all the seasons last night. Very excited for the new season next week. Huge fan of both Raylan and Boyd. and Duffy isn't bad either. I'm curious to see if Raylan or Boyd dies. I could see Raylan taking out Boyd, and Raylan getting taken out by the Mob crews.

i hope to see boyd the only one left standing, and the closing scene is him sitting on a beach in maui complaining about the salt on his glass when he ordered NO SALT.

I'd be disappointed if Raylan dies. This show doesn't give off the crazy ending vibe. Not to say crazy stuff hasn't happened during the course of its run, but to me, it seems like a "good guy always comes out on top" type of show.

And Boyd Crowder is that good guy.

He is the character that redeems himself the most over the course of the series. He has morals. He is a Robin Hood type throughout most of the series.

The Robin Hood bad guy doesn't always survive.

Oh, indeed.

the name itself is good. pick it for that. dont pick it because its from some obscure tv show that was on 20 years ago and your kid sits there and thinks "my god were my parents really that stupid?"

The Google Top 10 results for "Raylan" all pertain to the character Raylan Givens.

These here are rock hard times for ol' Dewey Crowe.

Excellent start.

It was a good start. 13 episode season to wrap things up. Wasn't expecting what happened
at the end of this first episode.

Pretty good episode. Justified also casts decent looking women: Ava, Raylan's Wife, the lady from the bank wasn't bad, and a few others.

I forgot how cool of a character Raylan is. His little analysis of tequila vs. bourbon at the beginning is a nice little reminder of how he handles his business.

He's up there with Rockford as some of the coolest guys in TV history.

Also!

Wolcott is that new character trying to buy Arlo's house.

So many Deadwood actors have appeared on this show. Cool.

Great episode last night. The writing was absolutely fantastic and I loved "Choo-Choo."

They did have some good Elmore Leonard-ish dialogue last night. Not much action but very good acting and dialogue.

This is the exact sense I got.

I also am certain now that Ava doesn't make it to the finale alive.

Big Question that Befuddles Me: Why does Raylan keep telling everyone where his family lives and where he is moving (i.e. FL)? Seems like a pretty stupid move for a guy who would likely have a lot of enemies.

I have been wondering about that too, Q. Thematically, it seems as though Florida has become a kind of utopian fantasy space to which Raylan will retreat after he restores order to Harlan County. Obviously, the show has repeatedly posed the question of whether it will be possible for Raylan to make such a retreat, given that order may be restored only through his martyrdom. Alternately, the show may be presenting the idea of Florida as a utopia only to undermine that notion by killing off Raylan's ostensibly "safe and sound" family. Either way, there's something fishy going on with all the recent Florida talk in the show.

Tim had a tremendous episode of lines, Joe Dipshit.

Garret Dillahunt fits very well into this universe as an actor pulling off the dialogue and tone of the show.

I'm very pleased with the direction of this final season.

Something is up with Dillahunt wiping his nose all the time. They focused on it too much for it not to be important in some way.

I have no idea what that would be, though. Although his neck looked like he had a rash all over it but that just might be what that actor looks like.
