yea Bob's a little out of it right now. Garret and Co probably should've checked the expiration date and maybe done the smell test before throwing that leg on the fire.

I thought they were selling that he was bitten or scratched and that he was going to off himself outside of the church. He had a gun in his waistband.

Now that he was captured, I don't think he was actually hurt by a zombie. I think it was a misdirect.

But why else was he outside sobbing? It seemed like suicide was his intention there until being captured.

Because he formed a relationship with the least attractive woman of the group.

Agreed, he was definitely bit or more likely scratched given how long it is taking for him to succumb or even show any signs of infection. Also, him being bit and then getting caught by the "hunters" and then having his leg eaten is an exact copy of the "Hunters" storyline that Terminus was modeled after, only difference being in the comics the tainted meat belonged to Dale.

Did they give a reason for splitting up?

They all agreed to go to DC when they were drinking in the church. Why scrap that plan?

I thought it was a very good episode although one thing really bothered me. Why did it take like
so long for Bob to turn zombie? I just thought everyone saying goodbye to him was kind of a silly
scene. I was also surprised that the group got the drop on Garreth and folks so easily. If they
were watching them all night how did that happen? I am glad they didn't drag on that storyline
too long and once again shows the brutality of some of the group members and the disgust of
those actions by others. I'll be interested to see who Daryl has with him.

They got Garreth by pretending to leave. They knew the Termites were waiting for the right time to attack so they baited them

They've been pretty inconsistent with what happens after a bite.

I thought it was a cool callback to have Glenn talk about Jim from Season 1 taking at least 2 days before they left him to turn.

The one thing I don't get is, why are Glenn and Maggie so gung-ho on leaving right now for DC? You would think Maggie would want to find out what happened to her sister, right? Instead, she's just abandoning any hope in finding her last family member.

That was very disingenuous.

That was the first time he's seen Rick go off. He wasnt there when Rick took out that crew Dale was with.

Yeah, but he was there at the trough where dudes were getting bled out.

Ya, I guess. But even in that scene Glen was saying to free the prisoners "that still has to be who we are"

They're building Glen up as the guy who is trying to keep some humanity

I'm surprised Rick didn't put two and two together and figure out that Tyrese didn't kill the dude from Treme. They knew Judith's name, and how else would they have found that out? I thought there would be some kind of tension between the two.

MY guess is Carol and Darryl went off to look for Beth..and they found her. Next week's ep will take place chronologically before and at the same time as last night's ep. It will end with Carol and Darryl hooking up with Beth and returning to the church. Episode will end with same exact scene as last night only it will extend to show Carol and Beth emerging from the woods and reuniting with the group (minus Beth's sister of course).

Tension for the guy who spent who knows how long walking around in the woods with Rick's screaming baby? Because he once again saved his baby last week, but didn't kill the guy who had her...and in the long run had no extenuating negative affects on the group other than there being on more person in Garreth's group?

Yea I don't think so.

From what I hear next week we will get introduced to at least one of the characters who will be on the spin off show, former Academy award best actress nominee, Keisha Castle-Hughes of Whale Rider fame.

The spin off show is going to take away from the quality of the original, isnt it?

What do we know about the spin off? I figured it would focus on the zombie apocalypse in a completely different
part of the country.

Why would you say that?

Is it the same writing team, production team?

Spreading themselves a little thin.

Also, I think there is probably a finite amount of cool ideas with zombies. Now their split in two.

From what I've read it will take place in a different part of the country and will also focus (at least at first) on the initial days of the outbreak, the period of time we never see because Rick is in a coma. Looking at that, maybe Keisha isn't part of the spin off and is just part of the main show??? Also she will be starring on Game of Thrones this season which makes it hard to believe she is gonna star in the spin off too. Also her name is Amber and there wasn't an Amber listed in the initial cast announcement for the spin off.

I'm guessing she's not on the spinoff and is just gonna be on the main show for at least one episode.
