I guess Odenkirk had a heart attack on set last year end of July so I am sure that didn't help. This show generally takes a longer time to come back and then add the pandemic in there and it was quite a stretch. Just glad it will be back soon.

When they resumed, I wonder whether they changed any of the script to be less taxing on him physically (I recall the desert scene from last season being pretty demanding).

I see now it’s actually 2 episodes played together. Recording the 2nd to save for tomorrow, so we can FF through commercials.

hah yeah the episodes may well have been like only 41 minutes each.

Vargas and Lalo story is good.

Goodman/Drexler story is lame. I didnt mind Drexler playing the straight role but now she's some kind of scumbag like Goodman? I don't buy it. After watching the episode I did not want to root for them. They're just scumbags. Maybe that's what they're trying to do.

This show is sooooo slow. The first season you can skip and same w/ the 2nd. Last season I liked it because it sped up so rest of the season I hope they speed things up.

And Jonathan Banks needs to win a fucking emmy. Fuck Hollywood if they don't give him one this year.

Agree with most of the above; I would simply add that it's pretty cool how they focus on Drexler's legal career instead of spending a lot of time on the basketball stuff.

I didn't immediately connect the dots that Lalo needed to kill the guy to get the dental records to match so everyone would think he was dead. But hat diversion didn't seem to last, since Gus believes he is alive.

Did Nacho escape or did the brothers capture him? I assumed he was caught. but then he called Mike -- though he could be in their custody.

I need to listen to the insider podcast to get all the inner details...there is so much to digest.

Thought it was pretty decent overall. Slow moving as was mentioned before. 13 episodes in the final season so we have a long way to go. They will do the first 7 episodes and then take
a 6 week hiatus before they finish the final 6.

so how does the guy w/ the beard have exactly the same dental record as lalo? even with surgery isn't that impossible to do?

Some things definitely happened in last night’s ep.

Sooner or later we knew what would happen since everyone in that final standoff survives into Breaking Bad, except one. But I wonder why Mike didn't just take out Bolsa and the brothers from long range...unless they felt that would unleash the full fury of the cartel down upon them.

the entire story with Goodman and Hamlin is childish and boring.

As for the ending with Nacho, I dont get. Wasnt Nacho in BB?

And why would Nacho save the Chicken man? Wouldn't it have been better to admit it was the Chicken man behind everything so they kill the chicken man right there and then? Nacho's father is protected.

And why did Nacho agree to meet when he knows it's death? Maybe I missed something earlier if they had a plan to escape. But even an escape plan in that situation would be ludicrous to agree to for someone like Nacho who is a survivor.

I appreciate Observer's spoilers. I will still continue watching.

I almost done with Season 4. I thought Season 1-2 were far better than BB's 1-2. Season 3 mostly sucked.
