Maxwell's voice makes my skin crawl. Same goes for Flo. Let's hope Jigsaw comes back to life and subjects these fuckstains to the Rack trap from Saw III.

As a stream listener I want to jump off a bridge every time I hear the Letterman or Two Broke Girls cut up promo.

Fuck you, Speedway, and your "Drink it up" song that should be given the Dana treatment (murdered then set on fire, all while celebrating his birthday).

if this thread is any indication...you guys need to mute the score on commercial breaks. they're not only annoying but during b&b they're quite extensive too. i don't want to read about some mass shooting, there have been enough of those lately.

Any of the promos for the CBS sitcoms. Mike and Molly, Two Broke Girls, the new one with Will Arnett. Keep it.

Why are these things still running? CBS shows have been done for over a month.

The problem is, they're so extensive that you forget you've turned off the radio, and by the time you remember, they're through the segment and back to commercial. B&B is like 50% commercials. It's easy to avoid a 2 minute commercial break, but after 5, you're lost.

"I'm Mike Muller from Muller Nissan. Listening to dealers sell themselves on the radio is like listening to grass grow. It's boring. I'm probably part of that group."

For some reason, I found Mike Muller's fleeting display of vulnerability and self-loathing to be quite poignant. It's okay, Mike Muller. At least you're not the Rosen guy.

There's an Apple commercial that has been getting a lot of play during the World Cup where they show a bunch of people using different apps on their iPhone to augment their day to day lives (jogging, working out, etc). The fucked up part is that this commercial must not have had much consideration for contemporary urban slang because when I hear "GOOOOO YOU CHICKENHEAD GOOOO!!!!!!"I'm thinking about something entirely different than whatever Apple wants me to think about (unless Apple is actually being diabolically cool for once).

artist: redman
song: i'll bee dat

Yo, yo
If you gotta be a monkey, be a gorilla
It's four A.M., I'm off a tab and still a
World rap biller, push a big Benz
With a chickenhead's drawers hangin from my antenna

and hell even before that we're greeted with "Watch them chickens floatin, dip you in salmonella"

can i get a cluck cluck up in here

(edit: btw who went and officially decided that when i google rap lyrics i'm supposed to go to rapgenius.com? that's a relatively new endeavor cuz for the longest time ohhla.com aka the official hip hop lyrics archive DOT COM was the #1 place to go to find rap lyrics by guys who aren't effectively pop music and therefore covered by all of those soulless lyrics sites that always come up as the first 2-3 results of a google search. now it's as if these guys have paid off google because whenever you search on rap lyrics you're deposited there to give those 2 foreigners a bunch of ca$h)

Golf Mill Ford, the #1 Ford dealer in ELLINOIS.

Is it too much to ask that you pronounce the name of the state correctly?

Actually, I think there was a while where RapGenius was off the Google rolls completely for exploiting their search algorithm to rise to the top of queries. Apparently they settled things (i.e., gave Google a shit ton of money) if they're appearing on the top, let alone at all, again.

Now that this one's running 30 times a day, I must say, the people who created and decided to run with this must be deranged. I will not accept any explanation of this ad that does not involve severe mental illness.

The Charles Schwab TV ad when the kid and his dad are walking down the street
and the kid keeps asking "Why?" in a blood curdling voice to everything the dad answers.
At the end, the voiceover says..."Are YOUasking the right questions?

I thought exploiting them was the point of Google having exploitable search algorithms. Rapgenius must've done something more than SEO their pages for Google's algorithm. Or google got pissed that they were trumping their paid guys and took down/shook down rapgenius for a taste of their click-through rev.

We need a new search provider.

and her swiss is swissier!

I actually think she has a cute voice and don't mind that commercial.

Than Merrill's voice, on the other hand, is grating and his commercials are all over the damn dial. It is rapidly gaining on the McDonald's commercial that starts with "Goo Goo, mama" and chronicles the kid's life through fatherhood "We named our baby after a world-famous tranny!"
