That was fine in this case.

I'm confident saying Dave told Lorne he'd pay for those FCC fines.

I do hope he does at least one character from his show, but it's not a deal breaker.

That was great. Well done by Dave and Chris...and Dave's monologue. SJW's got shit on right there.

Amazing how funny this show could be if they actually hired funny people.

I remember when he came to DeKalb right after season 2, and told everyone Tyrone Biggums was his favorite character. Glad to see Tyrone get the attention he deserves.

It's amazing how good SNL can be when there's some honest-to-God talent on the show instead of cookie-cutter, vanilla deutschebank pudwhack hacks.

I agree, but keep in mind Chappelle is easily top 3 funniest people on the planet. Hard to get that every week

This is some old-school, 70s-type SNL.

Consider then the inverse ... you're telling me that this group of nothings and nobodies are the best of the best of the best available?

You may not be able to get superlative hosts and musical guests, but the regulars should be funnier than a cat turd.

Well it is hard to fill the hole left by Wiig, Hader, Killam, Pharoah, and Armisen. Yes, it's been a few years for some of those guys, but it does take time to develop new talent.

Cmon DT... Pharoah was easily the weakest of those 3, but even he had me laughing every once in a while. I'll take Wiig over Killam, but they are both talented. Just my opinion tho.

You think they'd bury it at the end? It'd make some folks watch longer in future I suppose.

tyrone biggums you mean? and [X] TYRONE!!! WOOO!!! that was a comfy sketch that brought me back to the halcyon days of a much much better show.

also tribe, and the whole native tongues clique* for that matter, can blow me. q-tip prolly would =P

* native tongues clique = tribe, de la soul, roots... maybe someone else? mainly those 3 tho and while they each have their moments (respectively: scenario, the bizness (the one w/common sense) + me myself and I, and uhhh.... idk any roots songs) yeah. fuckin overrated as shit, and typically the rap groups that white kids in high school always went out of their way to namedrop in/around their top-10 rappers for the "[wigger] cred"

The potential for the audience to lose it, and start yelling "Rick James, bitch" is too high to put the sketch early in the show

Idk, I doubt he does either of the characters hoenstly. It would just be great.

Btw... Pre-Fallon Roots was dominant. If you missed their live shows 2000-2004, I can't really consider you a true hip hop fan. That's as pretentious as I'll get.

But she seems to think she is funnier than she is or something. Her weird mechanisms almost wait for the audience to laugh instead of them laughing first. IDK....there is something awkward about her for me.
