Weak episode indeed, those hounds wanted to play with Theon and Sansa and it was obvious.. Then they just disappeared? While their handlers are fighting for their lives..

I thought it was ok but didn't see the ending with the red lady coming at all, and found that surprising

It was weird, interesting though.. She doesn't seem in any hurry to bring Snow back to life..when the leader of the brotherhood without banners got killed by the Hound..his priest jumped on it immediately.

More temperate climate down there...Snow is basically being kept on ice, if you will.

You guys see that "After the Thrones" wrap up show with the GoT Nerds?

It was pretty informative and gives some good post game wrap up of the episode and series in general.

I don't recall that being on last season...

i thought the episode was fine. you definitely start to feel the "juggling" of all the storylines at around the 33 minute mark.

snow can't stay dead for that long. he's only mostly dead.

I'm going with Melisandre taking off the necklace and recharging her batteries, as it were.

Then bringing back Jon Snow for their escape from the room. Is there a shelf life for resurrection?

No. They brought that priest guy back to life and he was decomposing from what I can remember. There is probably a Monty Python joke in here somewhere.

What about the killing of the Dorne king? That seemed to be the big scene, but it was too similar to the red wedding in a physical way, imo

well, they're going completely off script here now because the source material is pretty much dried up. although i think some of this will happen in "Winds of Winter" anyway.

you know, just like in the books...it seems like time stands still when we get Daenerys scenes. they're just not all that interesting.

Worked in the show because he isn't the same person as he is in the books. He doesn't have the same plan.

He was portrayed as kind of a dope in the show.

Dany and Tyrion would have been great. Oh well. Maybe eventually.

Ramsay. Also, no.

Fat girl death? Meh. Baby? That's messed up.

He is the only "pure evil" character in the story. In a story with one hundred plus dynamic gray area characters that all feel realistic...he is the one out of place.

He is a lazy villain.

Well I disagree on that but on the opposite side, it occurred to me last night that Tyrion has never really done anything to make the viewer dislike him. Unless Im forgetting something, he's been pretty much a "good guy" since the outset

Besides fighting for the 'wrong side' for 4/5 of the story to this point?

Yeah...he has plenty of moral ambiguity but when it comes to important things he seems to fall on the side most readers would be happy with.

I never really picked a side and he never seemed fully on board with the Lannister's plans anyway

Kind of slow out of the blocks but I have faith it will start gaining traction. Thank god we didn't have to see what the Dothrakis were doing. That storyline sucks. Good to see Bran is like 20 years old now. I do enjoy some of the flash backs and looks like we will get more next week. Jon Snow coming back was the worst kept secret ever. Saw some reviews today like it was shocking. Are you living in a cave?

4 separate murder scenes including the murder of a King, A fucking Giant, the new Mountain the killing of a baby and the resurrection of a main character.

Not sure Id call that slow

Things happen but only because there are 100 characters to follow. Did you care about anyone that was killed this season? It's been a good start but they have a lot of ground to cover here.

So if Jaime confessed to all those sins, and he was surrounded by armed cult guys, why didn't they arrest him too like they did the queen? Too scared?

The Faith Militant are misogynists.

Didn't quite buy the dragon whisperer scene...So far, not particularly well written story...the show seems about as tired of having to write quality new material as GRRM. They are following too many plot lines per episode. With no time to develop the individual plots, it's losing me a bit.

Yes, all of that.

Or you're just not following all of the hints the show has dropped for five years, and the books have dropped for two decades.
