Progressive Insurance continues to drive me nuts! There's a relatively new commercial with the annoying Flo and Sonic the Hedgehog now. That's right...Sonic the Hedgehog! When does this crap end?

Ugh, god. Seriously. It's bad enough these are played out, but worse still, the "contestants" make all sorts of annoying noises in between questions. Awful

Um yeah, and they've been running for a long time, so obviously someone thinks they've hit comedy gold with them. They're wrong. They suck. I don't understand the advertising business. If a stand-up comic is bad, he gets boo'd and may not get hired again. A bad ad exec doesn't seem to get that feedback, they just generate bad ideas and collect their paychecks regardless. Apparently. If some genius pitched these commercials to me, to move my product, I'd kick their ass right out of my office, and probably dial 411 and ask if there's a number for the idiot police to go after them.

I mean, think about this. Someone at Netflix, someone very high up in the food-chain, was pitched these commercials, and said, yes, this is exactly how I want my company represented.

Wow.

I think everyone is aware of the shortcomings of Netflix management at this point.

I wonder what Jeremy Lin is gonna start pimping?

Don't ask...He may be forgotten once Carmelo Anthony & Amare Stoudemire return for the Knicks.

Speaking of KIA, they've re-upped as a Bulls' official sponsor. Has anyone heard the voice of Turner/TNT Sports' NBA coverage, Marv Albert, doing the radio ads for KIA during games on the ESPN Radio/Chicago Bulls Radio Network? Those ads are kinda cheesy, not to mention the Fisher Nuts' spots that also air on the broadcasts...

The Rosen commercials where the guy says "Huuuge" and "The total paaaaackage" in that silly voice are bad, and the Hyundai one they played a few years ago with the guy whistling in the background is back and no less annoying. PTFB immediately on both.

I was going to post a pic of Luger but I saw current pics of him and it just depressed me.

I know what you're referring, TQ. The Rosen & Family Hyundai ads are in heavy rotation, as well as Tom Paciorek for the folks at the Rogers Auto Group. Memo to Brooks Boyer, V.P. of Marketing & Broadcasting for the White Sox...BRING BACK WIMPY!

I wanted the White Sox to bring back Tom Paciorek to their broadcasts. Wimpy was his nickname, or was it Duke or Big Bob?

Ah, I was just coming here to bitch about that. Does he talk like that in an attempt to be funny, or is he just a giant douchebag? Either way, the commercial is utterly unlistenable. I literally will drop everything to make a mad dash to the radio to PTFB when that commercial comes on. I sincerely hope that guy dies of AIDS.

Thanks SHARK.

There are always $5 footlongs at Subway, even when the promotion ends Wednesday.

Possibly. I will find out the name so I can be 100% sure I never buy one of their fucking cars.

I was watching the Nascar race for reasons unbeknownst to me, and witnessed a Budweiser commercial which used The Cult's: She Sells Sanctuary, as a sample for a rap song... I will hurt someone for this egregious offense.

I saw a commercial on one of the many ESPN family of networks for Diet Mountain Dew. The commercial starts with some guy on a tour of the network's Bristol, CT campus, stops to find a Diet Dew in the vending machine and then meets ESPN mainstay Dick Vitale & Erin Andrews before getting offered by...wait for it...Mike Golic & Mike Greenberg. Talk about train wreck TV!

Just heard a revised version of the Rosen commercial and the catchphrases (huuuuuge, total paaackage) have been toned down considerably. Much better! I will no longer PTFB as soon as these come on.

Hopefully the guy that bought the falcon with his State Farm savings lets the bird eat his obnoxious, materialistic Caller Bob wife's face.

Those State Farm commercials are all getting big time annoying. The ones with Jessica & Jerry and the one with a Journey moment...ENOUGH!
