The trailer where they just listed everybody was more interesting, which is fine, DC has had some great trailers for middling movies.

Somewhere in quality between GotG 1 and 2, which may make it be best DC movie. Didn’t know the post credit guy has a HBO Max series starting in January. Seemed a little to happy an ending, I mean, minus all the dead people.

I enjoyed it. Reminded me a ton of Gotg. But overall the plot was a little out there for me. Still there is a lot of comedic value in the movie.

Not that killing people is the pinnacle of entertainment, but it just makes action movies better when the good (bad) guys are killing actual people and not waves and waves of cgi trash mobs.

I enjoyed SQ on the rewatch. Birds of Prey wasn't great, but I did enjoy the over the top heel performance from McGregor.

i said this after watching GOTG: this is what happens when you put TROMA in charge of comic book movies. then it was marvel. now it's DC.

if i were them, i'd put james gunn in every project going forward. the guy is a master.

this was the most fun i've had watching a movie in years. it hit every note perfectly. loved seeing stallone in the shark role. he does have a sense of humor about himself.

viola davis was great, glad they brought her back; and of course, margot robbie HAS to be harley quinn always.

there were so many big moments that around the hour mark, it felt like you were watching more than one movie. but it didn't deter from the entertainment factor.

highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy some carnage. and, the movie even had a heart.

so much better than the original.
