why would they cast someone new to the role? he starred in all 3 prequel movies as Obi Wan and has been universally loved in that role.

so other than the lesser ob1, the guy who played anakin skywalker is in this? that may be interesting as both of them were in the prequels. when does it start, next week?

My hype level for this show has grown exponentially since I now realize Star Wars fans are going to get more of their favorite characters from previous material.

I dont' think that would work. I guess if they're having the old anakin actor back it makes sense to bring back the lesser OB1.

What time period is this suppose to take place in? After the prequels and before Star Wars 1977? If so, then what part is the anakin actor going to play since he's darth vader in that time period. Flashbacks? He's going to be a jedi ghost?

they should do a show about Darth Vader during that time you mentioned. It would be bad ass. He would be lightsabering heads off and be in his most evil prime.

I was at the bookstore some years ago and they had those graphic novels on star wars. There was one called Darth Vader and I read thru the last book. It was very well done the storyline. They should do something like that.

The Vader graphic novels are pretty popular with OT fans.

They add a lot more depth to the character and showcase his full power potential (Even tho the robotic arms limit his power).

I’ve never picked any up, but have been tempted to.
