i liked that chloe zhau looked like she was taking time out of her 16-hour office shift to join a zoom meeting to accept her awards. she wasn't dressed in some oversized ball gown (my wife quipped that rosamund pike looked like she was a "grown baby" in that disaster).

I watched about five minutes. They trotted out Kristen Wiig playing some character for yet another one of her movies no one watched.

Then Sasha Baron Cohen tried to pretend that Borat was some Very. Important. Movie.

It's On Golden Pond for me. I remember my Dad bringing home a black box for illegal cable around then. And although my Mom wasn't happy with the idea I remember her warming up to it when she found out they could watch it on HBO for free.

It was funny. It wasn't as good as the first and it seemed thrown together so that they could release it during election season.
