eh, tough shit. that's how people bulletproof their content now. if a movie absolutely sucks but it stars a woman or a minority, then they use that as the angle. the medium is dead. there is no true criticism because everything is centered around "optics" and not storytelling, or character development. it can only be "problematic" in the social justice sense.

This movie wasn’t bad at all.
