I watched episode 1 last night and honestly wish I would have started with the last episode from season 2 first. So many flashbacks and jumping around that it was a bit difficult to figure out WTF was going on.

I've just barely made it through the first 2 episodes of season 3, both of which have been absolutely brutal. I'm not quite sure what the objective of this show is, but it's definitely not striving to be entertaining. Perhaps it is attempting to elevate the suicide rate among the largely white PMC audience that watches it? I guess I could get behind that.

The world needs to know that there is nothing more agonizing in human existence than being asked to cook food in exchange for money.

Made it through season 3. Brutal. Almost an entire episode dedicated to a pregnant woman breathing. Barely any character development outside of the Faks. I still don't understand what "haunting" means and I don't want to hear the word "haunt" ever again. Ever. The Tina backstory was the only episode that was remotely entertaining to watch. The show should be cancelled for forcing me to sit through whatever that was.

I'm through Episode 8 and there really hasn't been any plot.

I hope Syd leaves and takes Tina with her and Richie firebombs her new restaurant.

The problem with that JORR is it would require a plot, which I don't think they know how to write anymore.

I watched two episodes of the first season and pulled the plug. I have a low tolerance for screamed dialogue, and there's a ton of it in this show. If you're going to make me sit through a bunch of screaming, I want something special.

I've only seen bits and pieces of the show, never a full episode. It looks like, from the ads, that it is about a transformation from a beef stand to a high end restaurant, as if a great beef is an inferior calling to creating anomalous fusion food.

I'd think Midget would have some critiques of its societal reflection

That's why I stopped watching Seinfeld back in the day.

At their worst, Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm had the tendency to degenerate into pointless yelling.

This is an extraordinarily bad take.

this show blows harder than JORR in the Maywood Park men's room. wilco as the soundtrack to shitcago. the same elevated shot of the L that's been used to death. using naperville as a punching bag for all the suburbs. Hinsdale, Glen Ellyn, Winnetka, Kenilworth all breathe a sigh of relief. This show was written by west coast burritos.

It is interesting that Naperville has become the standby for everything wrong with suburbia and suburbanites. Naperville has an actual city center and it's one of the busiest Metra stations in the system, so obviously there's not an antagonistic relationship with Chicago. You want to talk about suburban hell and people who are afraid of The City, look at the Randall Road corridor.

They thought better about trying to assail Schaumburg

Just suburban Rockford.

The Lindenhurst/Lake Villa/Round Lake corridor is pretty bad too.

Anecdotally it does seem like a lot of people around there hate "Shitcago" but still love the Bears.

That Randall Road is pure Suburban Hell. It is a decent road to travel but man stopping in any of those places is a suckfest.

Is that even the suburbs though? There are a lot of cornfields and nothing between 59 and Orchard Road.

I'd call it the exurbs if we're splitting hairs, with 47 being the absolute western limit of that. My apologies to Hampshire and Burlington.

47 is definitely a border. Aside from a few of the larger towns pretty much everything west of 47 could be mistaken for any part of southern IL. They really need to up their warehouse protest sign game though.... those homemade pieces of shit look ridiculous.

I don't mind Geneva as in old downtown Geneva. It has a train station too even though its in a hidden pocket of the city.

Boyd....trust me on this....Rt. 59 out by Naperville, the Randall Road area and the Army Trail Rd part of Glendale Heights are all considerably worse than the Lindenhurst/Lake Villa corridor.

Bloomingdale/Glendale Heights/Carol Stream. I don't know what goes on there. Frankly, I don't want to know.
