this one started out a little slow, with backstory that does eventually pay off nicely. it's predictable, like all of these movies are, and it's the delightful kind of predictable. like, you know what's going to happen but you are looking forward to it all falling out.
one big emotional punch around the end of the second act.
great montage, builds extremely well. and the soundtrack just pops.
overall, damn fine entertainment. these movies just deliver.

one flaw--the casting of the young Dame was terrible. the kid who played young Adonis was great, but man did they whiff on the other one.
