so yeah, i left the tv on after the daily show / colbert power hour and tosh.0 is on. coming out of a commercial i see they dropped the video of antoine dodson talking about how THEY RAPIN E'ERYBODY UP HERE and i told #basketball

and then as if on cue....

evidently one of the ops is a tosh fan so i got kicked for that display, which means that i'll have to work hard to crack up one of the pro-sini ops to re-earn my superfluous +v (denoted by the + before my name) to become an archduke of observation once again.
anyways, sketch had him having a picnic with mr. dodson, going to rape class, and then featuring tosh damn-near-butt-naked in a "rape trap" box even going so far as to mass-ingest rohypnol in the hopes of getting raped. did i mention that the show evidently has a "dick of the week award?"
see, i guess the way the show works is that i'm supposed to go "OMFG! DUDE! DANIEL TOSH DRESSED UP JUST LIKE ANTOINE DODSON DID IN THAT VIDEO... AND LOOK, THERE'S A GUY ON MY TV WHO LOOKS JUST LIKE THAT SEMI-FAMOUS INTERNET GUY... BUT IT'S NOT HIM! IT'S A WHITE GUY... OH MY IT'S DANIEL TOSH! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLERCOASTER!!!!#@!@"
and then, as if on cue, they went to a rape prevention class (i'll leave it to your imagination to re-create the greatness, just know that "hijinks ensued") and the next scene featured tosh disrobing... which seems to be a pastime of his. evidently his comedy formula is like "ok, allow me to recreate a relatively-old internet viral video sensation... then i'll link up with the person, dress up like them (HAW HAW IF IT'S A WOMAN! OMFG THAT'LL BE RICH!) and we'll make a sketch out of it... then later i'll get 2/3 naked just to deliver the goods to the audience"
the only innovation he's brought to the clip show genre is that sometimes he'll switch to the left side of the "screen" and flip back to the right.
otherwise, he's an insufferable Caller Bob who has projected the requisite ego needed for the clipshow-host gig into some sort of a monstrously self-indulget latent homosexual rampage where he basically shows his audience how stupid and pathetic internet people are, all while looking for any old excuse to do a sketch and play dress up and get naked, cuz clearly, a comedic mastermind of his ilk is wasting his precious gifts on commenting on clips... he needs his own damned sketch show! SUPERDEMETRIMARTIN MINUS THE HIPSTER PLUS THE ROCKIN MODEL BOD = COMEDY GOLD.
but to disclaim, i've heard that his standup is pretty solid... i'll have to check it out, but seeing as i've already caught a whiff of the scent of "insufferable douche" from him, i can only imagine that his standup comedy is a slightly more humanized version of what we get on tosh.0.
anyways, there's my epic hater post for the night. i should save up this vitriol and contribute to next wednesday's HATER WEDNESDAY and help the greatest evening show in the history of evenings get that much better.... and if you have a problem with that, i suggest you don't.... CUZ I'LL HIT YOU!
