Just because alot of people watch it, doesn't make it good TV.

Alot of people watched 90210 and the Bachelor.

You said Marathon watch appeal... pardon me if I assumed something that was unintended. There are shows out there like:
Breaking Bad
The Wire
The Shield
Deadwood
Sons of Anarchy
Game of Thrones
Justified
House
Sopranos
Dexter
Mad Men
Arrested Development
Boardwalk Empire
Dowton Abbey

Now its a matter of opinion, but I believe every single one of these had better writing, dialogue and character development than Lost. But again, that's my opinion. I kinda feel that the cliffhanger approach that both Lost and 24 perfected ended up exposing what bad writing it actually was when the cliffhangers simply got too repetitive and ridiculous.

Halfway through season 2. I had to take a bit of break because I was traveling. Fucking Michelle Rodriguez ruins everything she is in. Making the show almost unwatchable... I wish someone would just fucking shoot her and get it over with. Tiresome bitch.

it's akin to what i feel when i see tommy lee jones on screen, when he's about to give his little croaky would be witty retorts. happens in pretty much every movie he's in.

Give it some time...I watched it from beginning to end and watched lots of episodes/seasons multiple times. I can't imagine the emotional impact of watching it as fast as you did. I had whole summers in the sun to recover! :lol:

I was disappointed/confused/immediately searching the internet for THE answer when it ended, but over time and some online reading and re-watching, I'm ok with it. There was no way to end it and make everybody happy. I don't regret the time I spent watching it. It was must see tv for me!
