I don't like the super-fast reading of the disclaimer at the end of some commercials but at least it's usually pretty short. There's a new casino commercial where the speed reading of the disclaimer seems at least as long as the actual commercial.

Bad.

Mc Donald's featuring some seriously psycho bitch in their Shamrock shake commercial- gives her guy a Gestapo-like interrogation, then vacillates from pure hatred to love of her man upon receipt of said shake, then professes love for the shake. Truly in need of professional help, and in no way encourages me to buy a green minty shake.

The commercial on the Score for yet another Male product, & the guy says "I've lost 35 pounds & I have a new zest for life".

Asus zenbook ads. I would not buy one just on these alone.

My god, these are so bizarre. There's the one with the guy being challenged to be fired out of a cannon, which is so poorly acted that the whole thing is just creepy, yet that manages to be topped by the one with the female at the basketball game, and she just keeps going "wooooo" for no apparent reason.

And what's with the asshole from this ad campaign sounding just like the asshole from the US Cellular campaign? I usually tune these out, and didn't realize for some time that similar-sounding assholes were interviewing people in two separate ad campaigns.

Are we really sold on items by people with foreign-sounding accents- I'm sick of the Geico gekko, Scott from Scotts lawn care and that marble-mouthed asshole from the Outback Steakhouse. there's a really shitty female British accent here on local radio that is pushing foreign car repair services. PTFB!

The Geico gecko is going SNL Superfans now. I heard a new one this morning where he does the commercial in an alleged Chicago accent, climaxing with the never before used phrase "Da Bears." :puker: :pukel:

I heard a spot for some gentlemens club called the Industrial Strip, and the guy had an absolutely ridiculous "wiseguy" accent (for lack of a better description)...which was followed by the disclaimer, "celebrity voice impersonated." I can't imagine this was supposed to actually sound like someone real.

I also can't stand the recent ad for Safe Auto Insurance. (One guy talking to another about his bouncing car...)

The "Real Gold Coins" ad

The "Rock" Version of 1-800-Kars-4Kids (or any version for that matter)

"Why is your car bouncing like, six feet all up in the air?"

Which is it, six feet, or all up in? Who fucking writes these things?

I wouldn't have thought it possible for them to make a more irritating version of that commercial, but boy did they ever. Not only is the music horrible, but the kid inexplicably holds "today" for like 10 seconds. Why? WHY? It's like they did it just to piss you off. And then the read they have the kid do "I don't know what that means, but blah blah blah." Fuck you. Just fuck you, kars for kids. I hope you all get AIDS and your charity fails.

I saw that watching the start of the Food City 500, Zizou. Those GEICO commercials are as annoying as Flo for Progressive Insurance.

I thought it was supposed to be Christopher Walken.

That's not even the worst Industrial Strip commercial. The one where Rusty Scupper waits for his nagging wife to go to book club so he can look at porn on the internet is the worst one. And experience the Indiana difference might be the most unappealing slogan a business has ever had.

Budweiser needs a new ad.

"YOU WERE CONCEIVED ON A NIGHT JUST LIKE TONIGHT
YA GOT TO GO OUT. "

Interesting thought. Anyone drinking this beer is a bastard child. Good to know.

Beni, that's not Bud Light. That's a Budweiser spot heard on the ESPN Radio/Chicago Bulls Radio Network.
