Very good episode.

You thought so? I don't think it was as bad as some reviewers do...but I felt the stuff with Carl was extremely forced. 2 episodes ago he was the perfect child...not much happened since that point and now I'm supposed to believe everything is suddenly getting to him?

Isn't that just like kids, though? One moment you think you've got a little angel on your hands, then the next he's out starting fights on message boards.

Maybe slightly forced but there is a lot going on with this show. Rick can't take the pressure of
being the leader. He definitely can't be the muscle. He sees Shane trying to be a father figure to
his son. His wife is a total bitch. Now they lose a main cog in their group. I thought it may have
been one of the best episodes of the year behind when they had to open the barn and maul all
the zombies. As for Carl getting a bit out of sorts. What age is he supposed to be anyway? Maybe
11 or 12? That is about when I started becoming really bad assed. Seriously though,
that is when you start coming into your own and breaking away. Maybe IMU can enlighten us since
he is getting close to that age...

a little forced on carl agreed..but the episode was very good..the other group has automatic weapons and is 30 deep..things are going to get interesting. dale was not a useful part of the group really.what did he do besides whine and complain and have that dumb look on his face with his huge eyes?

I can't stand Carl, he should have been eaten.

BUT, I guess for now he just needs the shit slapped out of him, lock him in a closet for 2 weeks or something. Dumbass doesn't tell anyone about the stuck walker and he loses a gun.

What a douche.

What I don't understand is how nobody in the entire group noticed that Carl was gone for that long, or how Daryl didn't notice that his gun was missing.

shitty mom not watching her kid....daryl noticing that shane had otis' gun is the first sound theory about shane killing otis...until shane admitted as much to rick..that turd dale was not as observant.

That isn't what I would call a sound theory. While suspicious, there could be multiple reasons he would have another's gun besides murder.

But Shane said that Otis covered him, so he could get away. Why would Otis cover him, and give up his gun?

i am not saying that it is not possible they had multiple guns...unlikely otis gives up one of his weapons.

What do you mean possible but unlikely? It is factual that they had multiple guns each, watch the episode again, specifically when they load up the truck to go to the school...and the school scenes themselves.

If I'm going to cover someone and help them escape from a mob of zombies, there's no chance I'm giving up one of my guns. Try again.

There was a rumor on a spoiler board months ag that the guy who played Dale was so upset that Dalembert had been fired that he asked to be written off the show. I guess that rumor turned out to be pretty accurate.

No real reason.

not a wise career move opting out..no pun intended on what i assume is the highest rated show on tv currently.

I want all of thee people to die - kid first. Dale's demise is a highlight. I DVR'd that.

The fact this show spawned a commentary show, is amazing.

They should have had shane shoot Dale at the end of the episode. Would have been a fitting ending.

50% of the walkers resemble Dirk Nowitzki.

would've been even better if a few of them started fighting over who got to shoot him. I'll do it. No, I'll do it! No, I want to do it!

haha. As badly as I found Dale annoying, Lori and Andrea are head-of-the-class in people I wish were Zombie bait.

They don't seem to be posting any new episodes for viewing on line at AMC. Does anyone know where I might be able to watch them.

Those two and Carl are the fucking worst, well, those three and that blonde whore who no one ever really saw until she became the crux of two whole episodes by being a whiny bitch who wanted to kill herself.

They should have just let her.

That's why I think Jr High kids write for this show. We are suppose to care about this girl who we have seen for a total of what, 2 scenes?

The same went for the whole Sofia storyline. They focus 7 episodes on finding this girl who we barely know and have had zero chance to bond with. Then we are suppose to be heartbroken that she is missing and zombie-fied?

Only characters I like are Shane, Glenn, Maggie, and Daryl.

Great episode tonight. Maybe my favorite of the season. First and last 5 minutes of the episode were fantastic.

it was good.

Rick knew exactly what Shane was doing and so did Daryl.

Carl raised his gun at Rick well before Shane started walking...........WTF? If that is the case, that he was going to shoot his dad, well, that just proves that Carl deserves an awful demise.

Also nice how they brought they dovetailed the comic storyline into this episode...well, close enough.
