What does smoking have to do with ricin other than the ricin is being stored inside a cigarette?

Another medium where it can be hidden. Lydia's tea seems to be a favorite as well, but how many times has Gilligan thrown us a curve ball?

It can be hidden anywhere, but I don't think it can be delivered through a cigarette. Its delivered through a drink or in food I would imagine as well. I guess it could be delivered through a cigarette if you opened the ricin capsule, emptied out the cigarette, dumped the ricin inside the cigarette and reloaded the tobacco. Not exactly a practical way to deliver the poison.

The only relationship between cigarettes and the ricin is that is where Walt had Jesse hide it.

I am somewhat thankful that no one here at CSFMB is entirely clear how Ricin must be used with lethal effect.

 Shakes is right. Guess I just correlated the storage of ricin with the usage of ricin. I'm a dumbass.

It would be cool if they finished the series by Jessie waking up in Walt's class, having dreamt the whole thing. I think we discussed that here before, but I just wanted to reiterate that it would be cool to mellow things out a bit after all the supaharsh shit the show has been putting out recently.

This ending has been talked about here & on numerous other websites & I have been thinking about this alot, but ending this series with a dream just seems too obvious & easy, & it doesn't seem Vince Gilligan like. Then again, despite the fact that Walt is a cold blooded son of a bitch, I believe that most BB fans are still rooting for him, so ending the show with Walt being the good guy is certainly a possibility.
Sunday September 29th is going to be monumental!

That seems like a terrible ending. IMO.

I also don't understand why some fans think Walt is going to go save Jesse. He just gave Jesse up and then twisted the knife with the Jane comment. It wouldn't make sense.

Imagine if Walt were to lose Skyler, Holly, and Flynn/Walt Jr. He considered Jesse a son, at one point. You can't see him reconsidering that relationship if he loses those three? The machine gun is probably for the Nazis. Why is he going after them?

A dream would be the worst ending in the history of time.

No idea. But, here's my guess.

Some threat to his family brings him back. After discovering the Jesse torture, he has a change of heart on Jesse.

He agrees to cook for the Nazis if they let Jesse go. He takes the ricin, gives Jesse time to get out, and dies.

That won't happen though. There has to be a Walt/Jesse showdown. That's how the show will end.

Gilligan repeatedly has said fans will be satisfied with the ending. He won't go the vague route.

Aaron Paul said people are going to be upset with the ending.

Can't wait.

What really are the open questions?

Does Walt get away?

Does Jessie get away?

What happens to Skylar?

My guess....

Jessie gets away and gets Skylar and the kids. I bet they kill the baby and dork boy in some really twisted way.
Jessie is the one who scrawls Heisenberg on the wall
Walt does not go back to save them and slinks off in an open ended way so they can make a future movie.

Cant believe that's even being discussed.

Why dont they just have Patrick Duffy come out of the shower and wake up Laura Palmer from her dream of Breaking Bad?

I like your theory. Walt is gonna get hold of some blue. he's gonna see how pure it is, and know Jesse is still cooking.

He's gonna head back to kill the nazis and jesse but weirdness will ensue

Looking forward to Todd's death

I want to believe that somehow Walt finds it within himself to go out trying to do the right thing & help someone, most likely Jesse, but maybe his Family. I'm not sure how I would feel about an open ended ending where we really dont know what happens to Walt &/or Jesse.

I don't see any scenario where Walt and Jesse reconcile. Walt blames Jesse for everything wrong that has happened with his family. Walt was ALWAYS trying to help Jesse, but Jesse was too much of a drugged out paranoid idiot to see that. Becoming a rat is the last straw. If anything, Walt's motivation to get that gun and go back is to kill Jesse first and formost, the nazis secondary and that's only because they didn't follow through on their deal to kill Jesse.

The only other motivation I see as a possible reason to go back even more important than killing Jesse is the money. Walt was fine with letting them having the $70 million because he still thought he was going to run off with his family and $10 million. But, now that that isn't happening he's going to start to think about how they took HIS money and there's no way Heisenberg is going to stand for that.

Not sure how it will end, but it won't end with Walt doing anything to help Jesse.

I'm hoping for a "The Shield" type ending, where the main character gets what he wants and it is unsatisfying for him as he realizes everything that he has destroyed to get where he is.

Starting BB at 8:30 and picking the Bears back up where I left off. I figure that should get me back to real-time on the Bears right toward the end.

Big screen: Dexter finale live at 8 because there aren't any commercials. Breaking Bad immediately afterward.

iPad: Bears game the whole time. I'm already pissed off because I accidentally chose PIT with 10 in my confidence pool. Should be the beloved but I used the iPad to make the picks and didn't realize I touched PIT until about an hour ago. What sucks most is I'm in 2nd for the week. Stupid fat fingers.
