Thanks. I watched the 1st episode and never got back to it. The change of scenery was the only thing it had going for it, from what I could tell. And that's not enough.

I see the finale is on demand. Don't have to wait til tonight to watch. I'll try to fit it in between the football games if possible and report back.

That was just the worst. Holy shit what an awful finale. That’s an embarrassment for all involved, many of whom made dexter a fucking lumberjack who went into a hurricane in a 27’ speed boat.

Ok so BHB used M99 not Ketamine and that was never a focus of the bhb investigation so for Angela to connect Jim with BHB based on a Google search is next to impossible. Also, the wheal marks could not be caused by an intramuscular or intravenous injection, only an intradermal injection. Also, batista was Dexter's friend, wouldn't be so keen to drive a nail into his coffin and as dexter didn't kill laguerta and the killing didn't fit any profile dexter used (gunshot) there'd be nothing to connect him to leagurta so why would be just grab the file and hop on the next plane and why would he assume any connection with dexter and laguerta? So one second, dexter fears being extradited to fla because of the death penalty but then begs Harrison to kill him 30 seconds later. Ok. Oh, as for batista, how did the writers miss an opportunity to have him and dexter face to face?
The series felt rushed and retconned.

Batista even publicly and aggressively sided with dexter over his ex-wife. It makes no sense he’s sitting on a folder of leads just waiting for galaxy-brain small town PD to contact him.

His son - who by the way, was horribly cast, and extremely uninteresting- then makes his decision inside of 30 seconds? Based on affection for his wrestling coach over his father?

Just dumb. The whole thing was an abortion. They should’ve left Dexter in the PNW chopping logs.

Dex and Bautista reunion would have been awesome. But they flaked out.
