watched valkyrie again. good movie, realized how delusional the plotters were in regards to germany's position in 43-44. you knock off hitler and assume power, great, but in no way would any of the major allied nations accept any type of conditional surrender or armistice. these guys thought they could fight them to a stalemate on 2-3 fronts.
