I watched the third episode this morning. I hope it's not going to be too much longer before they go from the episodes that are a parody/homage to sitcoms of days gone by and are, I am assuming, intentionally bad with only a small percentage of content being indicative of what the show will be and get to the episodes that are intentionally good all they way through and are about what the show is supposed to be.

I turned off Ep 1. I'm waiting to hear if this is a setup for something intriguing or it's just a suckfest all the way through.

I tried watching this and could only stomach 12 minutes or so, absolutely terrible. Canned laughter and black n white, cheezy ass punch lines.. Id rather stick my ball bag in a meat grinder. Whoever green lit this awful POS needs to banned from hollywood.

The first 3 episodes were a slow burn but I think it was worth it.

Are you sure? I couldn't even get through E1. I had heard it was an homage to Dick Van Dyke. If it was, it was a total failure. It was more of a unfunny mockery. I guess my question is, do these 3 episodes have a point, or is it just an artsy failure?

Ok. They didn't make it as a tribute to Dick Van Dyke. They are using the concept of sitcoms through the decades as a way to tell a larger story in the current day.

OK. I'll slog through. I did kinda learn my lesson with the last season of True Detective. I still don't quite know why setups have to be a slog. Somehow the producers of Fargo and many others never had that problem.
