I don't care for old period pieces, especially the Civil War. I've never sat down and watched Gone With the Wind and watched Lincoln exactly once.

Similarly I don't watch WW1 movies either but will watch Midway and Patton whenever they're on.

Glory is excellent. And you can visit the battlefield. Makes for a great experience if you are ever in Charleston.
