Don't get me started on that show, I had a girlfriend who used to watch it all the time so apply what you said to Chris here. :(

I remember watching the first season when I was still married. It was basically vampire porn at that point. To me it was just meh.

I watch it. Not that bad, lots of T&A and plenty of blood. Acting and storyline are
just kinda ok. I guarantee there are guys on this board who watch or are "forced"
to watch but just don't comment on the program. I pay enough for my 10 HBO
channels, I am going to watch as many shows on there as I can stomach, especially
during the summer when nothing else is on.

I tried watching last weeks episode, but in ten minutes all I saw was two burrito vampire couples so I turned it off. I see pics of hot chicks posted and hear its like vampire porn but man on man vampire love aint exactly what I was expecting.
Is it always like this or was it just bad timing???

It's created by the same guy behind 'Six Feet Under' and 'American Beauty'.
His stated goal is to lure the curious in with T&A and then hit em with the gay.

Essentially it was bad timing on your part, but the two gay guys are one of the main storylines
the last 3 or 4 episodes. It is a pretty small part of what is going on but if you really don't want
to see guys kissing, it may not be for you. I find the rest of the show to be good enough to look
past things like that. Might have a hard time picking up on what is happening if you haven't watched
much of the first 2 seasons let alone this one which is almost over.

Interesting ending to Sunday's episode. I find it hard to believe that
Eric will be dead and off the series.

I don't think Eric will die either. Russell is older so will burn much faster than Eric. Somehow I think Bill will save Northman who may become king of Louisiana after dispatching the biggest threat amongst the vamps

They'd never kill Northman. He's too valuable as man candy for the female viewers and is the most interesting character on the show.

Pretty good season finale, I watched it this morning. They set everything up for a
good start going into season 4. I won't ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet but
we were all right by saying that Eric will still be a part of the show.

I'm only a few episodes into this season after finally catching up on last season a few weeks ago. So far this season kinda sucks. Does it get better? I have like 8 more to go on my DVR. Is it worth watching?

In my opinion this season was just ok. They introduce a lot of new characters and beings
this season, so if you plan to watch next year you'll probably want to catch up on who some of
these new people or things are. Overall, as freaky and weird as last season was it probably was
more enjoyable than this season that just wrapped up. You have until next summer to catch up
on these recent episodes, so if there is something else you would rather watch or do, maybe come
back to it early next year or when you are bored.

Thanks, that's kinda what I thought. I'm sure I'll get around to watching them, but with the new tv season starting up + NHL + coaching and playing hockey 5-6x a week it might be a while.

Anti-climactic final episode to the season. I don't agree with the direction of Sam's character. He was originally a likable everyman type of guy with a supernatural secret who owned a bar. Now he's a cold-blooded murderer via flashback? I don't think he shot his brother, though. They make sure to only show you Sam firing the gun and not if he hit anything with the bullets. The finale raised more questions than it answered, which I guess is the intent of it, but if the questions it raised are stupid what was the point?
