Season 1 was great

Season 2 sucked

I'm hoping season 3 starts off with Rays old lady n kids dying in a car bomb so season 3 can be good .

I didn't think Season 2 was bad. Nice start to this season. Solid new cast. Liev Schrieber plays a pretty good badass.

This show both sucks and blows. Anyone not named Schreiber or Voight can't act to save their life. My wife likes it, and because it's not a Real Housewives show, I watch it.

The guy playing Bunchy, and yes, I know he's supposed to be slow, might be the worst actor I've ever seen. I wanted the brother in prison to die by shiv. (Or HIV, which might take longer.) I want that big fucking dog to eat Ray's wife. Both kids can eat it in a car accident. Elliot Gould was also terrible on this shitshow, but at least his character finally died.

I hate this piece of shit. Anyone who compares it to The Sopranos, which I heard someone do on Waddle and Silvy yesterday, is an idiot.

Not sure why you would put yourself through the pain of watching it if you hate it so much.

It's equivalent to those who hate listen to B&B. Glutton for idiocy, I guess.

This is one of the best shows on TV.

This.

Ed from Lisle watches too much Lifetime.

Fuck that. This show is so predictable. Examples from this past Sunday's:

When Voight had words in a calm way with that hill billy pimp, I told my wife, "That dude will end up dead in the pool." Bam. Pimp in the pool. Dead.

Before the reveal, I said, "Bunchy is fucking beating off to that chick wrestler." Boom. Beating off to the wrestler.

Why did his Ray's wife get that big ass dog? Oh, to replace Ray, as evidenced by her feeding that beast the food off the plate Ray never showed up to use.

It's just a show, so I won't question sanity, but seriously. This show is so by the numbers. I could deal with a by the numbers show if the acting was good. This show has TERRIBLE acting outside of Voight and Schrieber.

As to why I watch: the wife likes it.

And I'm having a particularly shitty day today, so I'm not looking to get into a beef with anyone. I'm the knucklehead who watches this stupid show and feels the need to rip on it on a sports message board.

I'm catching up on this show. Half way through season 2. Just saw the Conner Birthday party episode. Where everybody in the family is so fucked up and the party goes bad.

But the ending was great. Where Ray is dancing with his son to ACDC/Run MCD's "Walk this way". I was cracking up. That was awesome.

Yeah. With a chuckle as he stumbled upstairs. Funny.

I just caught up.

WTF happened to Katie Holmes? Good god, she looks 10 years older than her age. She only has one kid.

Fuck you, Tom Cruise!!!! Fuck you!!!! You stressed her out with your weirdness and ruined her. I can tell she's still looking over her shoulder for Scientology weirdos trying to get her.

That episode was like the end of Godfather. Where he kills everybody.

Katie Holmes has never been attractive.

This show is predictable n boring ..RaY n his old man are the only 2 interesting story lines that can act .. I hate Rays old lady n his kids . I hope they die in a sinkhole n die .

She wasn't a model, but she was cute. She's not old. Something is wrong with her face. Like a bad surgery type of thing. Attention Hollywood women, don't get the plastic surgery in your 30s. You look fine!!!!. It only makes it worse!!! Wait until 45. But at that point Hollywood doesn't want you anyway.

Plus, like I said, she's a nervous wreck thinking the Scientology people are gonna kill her.

Who didn't see that when they showed the judge popping a pill that it would come back later? So dumb. So predictable.

I didn't think much of it at the time. Old men take pills. You're better than me.

Not their best episode. Getting the brother out of prison moves the story along so I am alright with that but just silliness. I am more interested now
to see how Ray's new boss puts him to work and uses him against his own daughter. Not really sure where the prostitute/drug ring is heading but
you can bet it won't work out well for Bunchy and Darryl.

This show is pretty much Sapranos II. Showtime wanted to tap into that market. People love Mafia stories. I'm among them.

I don't get how Ray always has a 5 O'clock shadow. Never a full beard. Never clean shaving. Always the same amount of facial hair. It's amusing. They must have to time that before the shoots.

As a bearded (By Cracky) fella, I can tell you that most beard trimmers have many different settings including one that can give you the Sonny Crockett/Ray Donovan look daily.

I enjoyed last night's episode. Not a lot of excitement but they are starting to build more of the storyline that will take us through the season.
This Finney guy must have his hands in a lot of different things to keep Ray busy. I'm kind of hoping that Ray can somewhat reconcile with the
family, which it looked like he started to do late in the episode. If he isn't going to then they play no real part in the series.

I wanted Terry to at least tag Mickey a good one in the face. Some day...

Hope to see Ray & Avi partner up again in some capacity.

Katie Holmes sure could use a good extra 25 lbs or so. Way too skinny.

She really does look pretty haggard in this role.

Not only is Katie Holmes way too skinny, her face looks weird. I don't know. Looks like she got beat up. Maybe it's bad plastic surgery. She looks bad and she's only 36 years old. Looks stressed out.

Another thing, why don't the kids have a Boston accent like their parents? I know they've grown up in LA. But their parents have it. You'd think they would have picked it up from them. Maybe it was tough to get kids to pull off a consistent Boston accent. So Showtime decided against it.

I caught maybe ten minutes last night.. This show was great season 1; n all downhill from there. Rays old lady is one of the most annoying bitches on t.v.

She was annoying as hell on Deadwood , she's not attractive. Rays kids are annoying as hell . Katie Holmes is hideous , she looks like a meth addict .

I think the last couple of episodes have been strong but not sure where I like some of the storylines like Bunchy and
the luchador, the daughter and her teacher, and I have no idea what Ray's wife is doing. Nice to see Avi in the previews
for this coming week.

I think this season has made for better viewing than season 2. My biggest complain is that Ian McShane is not being utilized enough.

He was terrific in Deadwood.
