Well, that's it. I heard another commercial for that Rosen asshole this morning (wasn't quick enough turning the stream off), and I've reached my fucking breaking point. I sincerely hope someone murders that asshole. Seriously. You don't get to go around being a dick like that and not expect someone to murder you. Fuck that guy. He embodies "insufferable."

I heard one of his commercials on WTMJ for their Kia dealer in Milwaukee and he didn't use same annoying voice inflection. Maybe he only does it for the commercials here because he thinks it sounds like a Chicago accent?

I'm a BIG FAN of This Old House and Ask This Old House- started watching with Bob Vila back in the beginning. PBS has kinda eased away from the commercial-free network by just showing the sponsors ads all a once at the end of the show. GMC is a proud sponsor, and I appreciate them helping make the show possible. The single ad that runs over and over during this time is three guys prying on a giant boulder on a job site, when one of them says"what we need is some elbow grease". Then, the GMC van immediately shows up with two drums of "elbow grease". MORONS! There is a Bobcat skid steer clearly visible in the background...that's what you dipshits need! Once this fatal flaw is exposed, the commercial loses all value- kinda like "The tooootaaaal paaaaaackage!" OK, not as bad as that, but kinda.

Man, these Net-10 wireless ads "how to talk to your parents about switching plans" need to stop. I didn't like them to begin with, but they're a whole fuck-ton less charming on the 80 thousandth go-around.

One of the great ironies of this thread is that Matt in the Crown is employed as a copywriter for an ad agency.

I think she's the same girl who told us about Wendy's Portabella Mushroom Melt, too.

The fix your taxes commercials.

A. It's a scam. You're better off dealing with the IRS yourself. If you're in serious trouble you need a lawyer not some fly by night channel 26 advertisement.

B. The people are always annoying.

The commercial for that personal injury lawyer where the woman who got her fake boobs with the settlement money.

The commercial where that lady is on a motorcycle and makes up rhymes with city names.

Please someone stop FLO FROM PROGRESSIVE!! JUST MAKE HER STOP!

And the "is that a puddle around Santa's feet?" talk is quite off-putting in a food commercial.

All too often listening to the Score, I find myself at the corner of, this commercial sucks, and this jackass ad genius should be shot.

Or maybe at the corner of, this whole ad campaign is unrelentlessly stupid, and what kind of shitfaced fuckwad comes up with this crap?

Or the corner of, I'm personally going to find this jerk hat, and why hasn't someone else already done so?

Actually, I think it's rather clever of them to reinforce the corner-store model that Walgreen's has developed. You rarely see strip-mall Walgreen's locations anymore. I remember in Prospect Heights, there was one in a strip mall at Elmhurst and Camp McDonald, which they vacated for...a brand-new standalone Walgreen's at the corner of Elmhurst and Camp McDonald.

The one that's been getting my goat is the BMO Harris "definition" thing. They define "BMO Harris Bank" as a verb, and then give a definition and related synonyms where it couldn't possibly be a verb! What's the point?

Matt in the Crown, do you really work at an agency? Any chance you can get me some work?

Good point. But I will still find myself at the corner of PTFB and PTFB whenever I hear it.

The people who came up with that limo ad don't seem to appreciate the concept of rhyming.

How bout those fucking Chase ads with the douchebag walking around with an unplugged Paul Reed Smith singing about getting cash back to the tune of "Footloose"?

Or those Proactiv ads that Fox Soccer Channel airs about 500 times a day.

"You have reh-ly nice sken" - "No blimishes" - the answer is always Proactiv.
Why are there anti-zit ads aimed at women constantly being played on a soccer channel?

I can just picture the asshole in the Family Hyundai commercial whistling into the microphone. He's got the tinted sunglasses and the stupidly-oversized earphones. I bet it only took him one take. Just walks away thinking "Yep, nailed it." Fuck him. I hate that commercial.

That guitar looks pretty sweet. I would like something like that if I, you know, played the guitar.

Flo from Progressive needs to go away along with the two clowns who fiddle at the end of the GEICO commercials. I've heard Eddie Money's "Two Tickets to Paradise" many times on classic rock radio, but C'MON MAN! ENOUGH!

It would be far less annoying if Eddie Money had suffered a stroke. I would then cut him some slack, and give him credit for the effort.
