Good ending.

Yeah that was great. I also enjoyed Casey putting that dude from California in the cattle guard  Solid episode

Yeah, I fast forwarded the parts when she was teaching her students at the college; too preachy. She's supposed to be Kayce's moral compass, but she's annoying and is probably my least liked character on the show. Travis is a fucking dick too.

I'm not buying the story the Indians are saying, that it's the guy in prison who ordered the hit on Duttons...doesn't make sense.

swerve to introduce a new shadowy Season Big Bad? If so, I just hope it makes sense within the story and not some rando outsider played by a Gerald McRaney type for the sake of a new villain.

I realize you can just add it to the long list of "suspend disbelief" moments of the show, but don't see how Kaycee locking the guy under the cattle guard, and then the rancher finding him, would end up in anything other than arrest. Even if he left the guy there to die, with the rancher talking about lawyers, etc., someone would notice the guy being gone.

Or the the beginning of yesterdays episode, with the local Montana police cool with their livestock commissioner pulling over suspected militia members and shooting them right then and there.

The entire town was torn to shreds - a building blew up, they had shootouts on the streets, the all important livestock commissioners’ office was shot up…nobody seems to give a shit that the cops/livestock commissioner are running around executing people.

I can buy that they put the nerd under the cattle guard for a few hours.

I don't need my TV shows to be true to reality. Breaking Bad was the same way. Alot of things that would not happen in the real world. But it is entertainment, not real life.

These might fall under "things everyone else already knows", but I didn't realize that the guy that plays Travis is the shows co-creator. Also, the ranch Jimmy went to at the end of last nights episode is the location of the Yellowstone spinoff.

its going to be another series Sheridan is doing. 1883 is about the Dutton's. 6666 will be that ranch.

I had trouble a bit piecing together the ending of last night's episode. When Jaime reads the name off that prison report and immediately is shaken, I'm assuming that is his biological father's name? He maybe was cell mates with the guy that ordered the attack?

Yeah, those names were all that guys cellies over the years, so now jaime knows his biological dad had that hit taken out on the Duttons.

Yeah..it is very good. Think it could be better if Jimmy died on that horse and those two broads went back to the rodeo.

yeah the two broads that just hang out at the ranch are fairly useless. Teeter can stay. Teeter is cool.

Caught up on watching latest episode...right near the end...did anyone else's video and audio cut in/ out or glitch
when Travis and Jimmy were talking about the corrals and where to go?

Was on dvr and thought it was a skip on my end, but it was part of the stream. just curious if in that exchange between Travis and Jimmy originally, something was deemed potentially inflammatory that had to be removed.

Given its "boundary" pushing content. In the beth-t way.

Hippie protesters come to Montana.

Main hippie girl falls for John.

I love this goofy show.

I thought I heard with P+ you may have a wait for originals to run a bit on Paramount/Peacock?

This show has at least one montage each episode where horses are running around doing things like stopping fast or spinning in circles. My understanding is that these things are impressive to people in the know.

All the ads seem geared toward people who think they’re actually ranchers. I can’t imagine many people watching have need to buy in bulk at the local Tractor Supply or give a shit which brand of cowboy boots the dumb broken neck guy who ‘spends his days between Brooklyn and the American West’ wears.

Idk, it’s a great show but it’s getting a little heavy handed on farm content for my liking. I’d rather just see people rack up inexplicably large body counts without consequence than watch a horse jump up & down for 5 minutes.

 You might be watching the wrong show if you think the farm stuff is too much in a show about a ranch.

The show is really built around the personalities of the characters and their interpersonal relationships. The ranch elements are just nostalgia about the American West and a dying way of life.

Gotta hit up the ‘Cock.

Apparently Paramount sold steaming rights for its only notable original show to NBC right before launching a steaming service. Makes sense.

Which is why we need to go back to a world where everybody had cable and nobody needed to worry about shit like this. And maybe why CRT needs to be taught.
