Silvy always looks uncomfortable on TV. But he made some good points for his rant and rave segment.

I give Silvy a B-

Ok. Back to the Oscars.

I think he looks alright.

What is the rule on TV for buttoning the coat when sitting down? Waddle has his buttoned and it looks better.

I think for TV you're always suppose to have it buttoned. In normal life you unbutton it when you sit down. Button it when you stand.

These, "remember when we had real actors and real movies" montages are a bad idea. It only makes the current crop of garbage look that much worse.

OK, I'll be the first to say it. I'd do Helen Mirren.

This isn't the Roberto Begnini win, but people are going to look back in five years and say "Oh God, really? Daniel-Day Lewis. In that movie?" Not so much because he's a bad actor, but because it simply wasn't Oscar-worthy. It's like Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman. He wasn't so much just acting as he was acting at you.

Very good W_Z. Always bring it full circle. That's a key aspect of comedy.

Did you ladies watch this with your girlfriends, wine, and cheese or have you been sipping on fruity vodka beverages served in a martini glass?

No. I watched it alone while drinking. I don't think it makes me gay. I made plenty of sexist comments here.

That chick that took Best Actress was quite the upset, correct?

Good thing Diablo Cody stopped strippin'.... She had more cheese under that dress than the Brat Stop has in their kitchen.

What? Did something happen to him?

I guess Brad Renfro wasn't cowboy enough and Sam the Butcher wasn't 'butch' enough to make the montage.

Apparently Suzanne Pleshette sounded like she gargled with a gallon of jizz every morning.....

my wife brings up this point everyyear, and it's pretty funny because she get's so mad about it. During the 'look who's dead' montage, when people are scrolling across the screen, she get's pissed when people start clapping. mainly for how bad she feels for the people who do not get anyone clapping.

That's weird. I guess I'm the opposite of your wife. I always feel bad for the people who get the applause because the audience seems so happy that they're dead.

Good point. I am an agent of change, after all.
