The peete family against the gronkowski family.

The first question was name something that could be inflated or deflated. Gronk declined to answer. When did this show become trashy?

About a month or so ago, Gronk was on SC to announce his Madden cover.
This was when the board was doing down more often than Euro soccer player trying to draw
a penalty kick.

The entire thing was as burrito as anything this side of the Logo channel

1) Gronk's there to celebrate his Madden cover. They show some ESPN behind the scenes employee
ask Gronk to hold up a mock-up of the Madden 17 game box. Gronk grabs the empty dvd container sized
box; and instead of holding it up and letting the ESPN person snap his pic, Gronk grabs the ESPN person's phone, turns around at the desk he's seated at, and proceeds to expertly and with the casual ease of someone who does this all the time cycle through a series of selfies; pulling a new face/pose with the box for each of his 4, it looked like, selfies he left on the person's camera.

2) this happened:

3) ESPN SC host lady is asking Gronk a series of questions, like what's your favorite color, yadda. She asks--and someone
at ESPN must've fucked up or she wrote her own questions and didn't know about Gronk's book from last year--cuz she asks: "Gronk, if you were to write a book, what would it be called?" A cloud comes over Gronk's physiognomy and he appears to be struggling to grok what's happening, but quickly sputters out, "well, it'd be called 'It's Good To Be Gronk'.

ESPN lady: "oh, you came up with that fast, are you working on a book already?"

GRONK: "it's the name of the name of my book, yes"

ESPN lady: "Oh, cool, when does it come out?"

GRONK (again, clouded face): "It came out last year" with an attempt at a half-grin/shrug.

ESPN lady: "Oh, yeah, right. I read it"

4) ESPN lady ended on a high note, Gronk wise. When she asked Gronk about his outfit for the KY Derby last year [pictured below]. Gronk spoke at length about it and they even had Barry "Playgirl" Melrose give his take on Gronk's outfit (Melrose liked it). ESPN lady then asks how he picked out his outfit:

Gronk: "One of my boys [i think this means "bros"/friends] picked it out for me,. The entire thing. I knew I was gonna look good cuz he picked it out for me"

5) Gronk let it drop that he didn't crack a book in college or high school, but he's really starting to get into the whole reading thing these days.
