so hey has anyone tried this relatively-newschool Adult Swim original animated "comedy" that's been on a bunch lately?

the general gimmick is that there's a family with a little cripple/ish kid who has polio-leg-braces or whatever, there's a live-in grandpa who has figured out that the dog is a pure evil serial/thrill-killer (but nobody listens to crazy old grandpa, and of course mr. pickles thwarts grandpa's schemes to expose him every time) .. and then there's a big busty doofy mother that mr. pickles seems to REALLY wanna fuck something fierce . then i think there's an anonymous dad, another "awww shucks" incompetent sheriff (played up as WAY more incompetent/bumbling/outright-retarded than the archetypical "bumbling dimwitted cops" on the simpsons and south park) and uhhhh yeah, the show goes all out to use "gross out" and/or shocking """""""""humor"""""""""" to deliver the goods.

my take on this show is that it's pretty fucking awful.... but not necessarily in an awful "they think they're smart/surreal/next-level-ironic" way that, say, Children's Hospital does in its quest to be legitimately 100% "aggressively unfunny" (read: bad) i think this show is made/written by a bunch of lowest-common-denominator idiots who are really that dumb-n-visceral where you can picture a room full of trailer-parkey people sitting around like "LOL wouldn't it be hilarious if we had a show about a regular ol family dog that's actually a satan-worshippng superdog who routinely goes around massmurdering people... with a recurring sub-plot/story-arc about how he's always wanting to fuck his owner-kid's doofy big-tittied mother? *takes another hit off a giant 2ft tall glass bong * HOLY SHIT GUYS I THINK WE'RE SITTING ON A GOLDMINE HERE!"





I reckon that whole "LOL DUDE DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THAT NEW ADULT CARTOON WITH THE SATAN WORSHIPPING DOG?!!?" thing is meant to be a gimmick like they had when family guy first started ("LOL DUDE DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THAT NEW ADULT CARTOON WITH THE BABY THAT WANTS TO KILL ITS MOTHER??") --- of course this show manages to make Family Guy look like the early/vintage years of the simpsons in comparison...

...but hey, at least it's not Children's Hospital! (i once wrote up something whilst watching an episode of that and i'll see if i can dig it up for your viewing/reading disdain)
