Per the good doctors suggestion from the podcast . I'll go with The Score with DeNiro and Norton and 2 Connery flicks, Finding Forrester and Entrapment .

The Score is a great pick. Underrated performance by Ed Norton.

Swordfish is another that I can't help but watch.

I wouldn't call it that at all. It was entertaining, but the acting outside of Edward Norton is pretty bad and the plot is pretty weak. The montage in front of the bathroom mirror is an all time great scene though.

DeNiro getting more play. I'll throw Ronin in there too.

Gotta agree with DB here. 25th Hour is critically acclaimed, and rated pretty high by all the relevant movie review sites. Hoffman, Cox, and Pepper all stand out along side Norton as well.

Agree the bathroom montage is an outstanding scene.

I must have misinterpreted the title. I thought these were more guilty pleasure type films. You guys are posting solid to borderline great films for the most part. My bad.

What BadRogue was referring to in the original post was my declaration in the podcast that The Dark Knight Rises isn't a great movie but I'll still watch it every time I see it.

I wouldn't call it a great movie, though.

You take that back right now. Big Trouble in Little China is an awesome world shaping movie. You should have your movie watching privileges revoked.

Yeah, solid, entertaining, borderline, but not great.

Spaceballs makes me physically ill. I really don't like that movie for some reason.

Contact is definitely in there. I watch it just for the wormhole scene and visit with the extra terrestrial Dad.That planet looks beautiful. Or what I'm assuming Club Med looks like .
