Not the one where Jennifer Garner, Hugh Jackman, and seemingly everyone else in their hillbilly Iowa town are skilled butter sculptors who get taken out by a ten year old black girl.

This is a teen movie about a fat kid who decides to eat himself to death on New Year's Eve. It's pretty good and realistic enough in that he doesn't get the hot chick in the end because a guy this fat never would.

I guess you'll have to wait for Wheaton Zack.

So was the movie trying to render the obese sympathetic?

I don't feel comfortable with that.

It sounds like something John Waters would make.
