So I try to watch a different horror movie every night of October every year. Been doing it since I was a kid. I am a day behind, but I've watched Purge: Election Year, The Conjuring 2 and Sharknado. (Yes, I know a couple of those aren't pure horror.)

But man, was Sharknado awful. How far has John Heard's career fallen to take a paycheck for that?

It may not be the scariest anymore but I like a Blair Witch screening this time of year.

This is something my brother in law does. I don’t believe sharknado will be in the rotation. I’ll probably watch a few but will tend towards older ones.

I usually watch new movies and ones I haven't seen before through the first couple weeks and then get down to the classics closer to Halloween. I always watch at least a few Halloween movies - usually 1,2, 4 and 6.

I still love that movie. There has never been a movie that has scared me upon first viewing quite like Blair Witch with the exception of Halloween.

I'd say his career is officially dead.

You can have a devil themed week with The Exorcist, The Omen, Constantine, The Seventh Sign, etc.

Monday Night Mitch will blow an ACL after looking great in a half. Enough horror for you?

i'll be bumping that thread in a few days. i need to pull some info from a few websites on upcoming stuff. TCM had the "Frankenstein" trilogy on a few nights ago. that's always a good taste.

every october, i have to watch "night of the living dead" at least once. it's my all-time favorite horror flick and i can watch it over and over and never get sick of it.

i'd like to revisit some movies i haven't watched in a while, like the original "texas chainsaw massacre" and "freaks", if i can find my dvd copy.

Check out “inside”. The French version, not the terrible American version
