Based on the last Rocky movie,I will look forward to this one. That young kid was really good on "Friday Night Lights". He also is the new Human Torch in the Fantastic Four reboot. Michael B. Jordan is his name.

My wife and I just finished season 1 of The Wire. Michael B. Jordan played a kid who ends up getting killed. He was probably only 14 or 15 when he played that role. Good actor. The Creed trailer showed a lot of him doing stuff Rocky did in his movies but slightly different. Like he was running thru the streets in a gray sweatsuit but he had a motorcycle gang riding behind him. I kinda know what beats a Rocky/Creed movie will have, and based on the trailer, I would still see it. I'm a sucker for them.

I was hoping for a Scott Stapp pummeling.

Ill see it Begrudgingly but it should be a prequel about Apollo's rise from the streets of L.A. to the title.

Wouldn't Apollo Creed's kid be about 40 now? Even if you think maybe his wife was pregnant when Drago killed him, he would be 30 at this point. A little late to get into the boxing game, no?

Hollywood does not expect you to use your brain that much boyd.

RPB, only problem with a prequel is there would be no Stallone.

A.V. Wire‍ 's Herman Dhaliwal gave the film a very positive review and said "I will say the film was everything I could have ever wanted and then some. It’s a film that could have gone so wrong in so many ways so easily, but the results show something that is genuine and inspired. It takes the smartest possible routes with the story it wants to tell and delivers in basically every way it needed to. Ryan Coogler cements himself as one of the best rising filmmakers working today, as he crafts an emotional, funny, compelling and uplifting film that is full of strong performances.

I didn't think about that. I was going to see it but now I'm not. This just ruined the movie for me.

CBS Sunday Morning program did a 10 minute story on Sly based on the fact that this new movie is coming out. It was a good story.
I could see how this movie could be pulled off and am glad to hear that it has promise. Did Apollo's kids show up in the earlier movies
at all? I know he was married but don't remember seeing little kids.

I think I recall 2 little kids in the 2nd one when Apollo is at home reading his hate mail.

Yea, apparently she was pregnant with him during the Drago fight.

He'd have to be thirty unless we believe 4 took place a few years later than its release

Also, Claire Huxtable has taken over the roll of Apollo's wife

There were only dogs

He did have older kids though. They were in 2 when he was reading hate mail.

Not sure how I can pull it off but I was thinking about doing the same thing. Anything Rocky is a must see for me.

You don't want to see the Bears dismantle the Packers?

There is usually nothing but passing out watching your 8th and 9th hour of football on that night usually so I was thinking some people might be up for it.

Yes sir, and they are retiring Favre's number that night. We may need him to come back and play though.
