On Netflix Letterman show he has Howard Stern on it. Really enjoyed it. Very Radio industry heavy.

as someone who went to "the killers of comedy" (aka "the hack pack") in wrigleyville back during the first year or two of howard's move to sirius, it's kinda sad to see just how much howard freaking stern has faded away into the background. i wonder if you'd even admit to people that you listen to howard stern nowadays?

it seems like he's wanted to reinvent himself into some kind of "master interviewer" who has these deep dives into the interviewee's psyche, like there's some newfound depth about him that transcends the kind of "zany fun" he originally made himself arguably the biggest name in radio ever. the last vestiges of humanity left that show when artie left that show, cuz say what you want about artie (and there's plenty to say) but at least he was a real human being who didn't live in a bubble like howard and robin. fred's probably a real human being too but he doesn't talk enough for us to know.

ah well, at least there's all the past clips and whatnot to give you the occasional nostalgia trip.
