They've teamed up before in the past, especially that one where they kill the three-headed space lizard. Godzilla is sometimes good and sometimes he wants to destroy humanity.

i liked the new godzilla, even though cranston's character was extremely underused. the monster fight scenes were still great.

i'm all for a fun monster movie, and this looks like it'll be a good one.

The original had three different endings. As a kid, I teared up when they zoomed in on Godzilla, who survived to fight another day. It was heroic and noble.
