i think it's a great move for DC. james gunn would thrive with this material. it's just a shame they had to shit out the 1st one without him.

what sucks is that i still love the GOTG and i really don't know that i'd want to watch another one without him at the helm.

It already feels like an expendable move. I don’t know why they blow their way into the entire squad. Why not do a couple origin movies where they get arrested as build up to the actual franchise.

Take any 3 villains and put them into a dead pool like move and end with them captured. Instead they will introduce and try to have a plot in one movie. Just hasn’t worked.

Meh, some of these are Z list villains who won’t get (or even deserve) much screen time and are there as cannon fodder. Can even be a swerve with some good ones not getting out of the first 1/4 of the movie alive.
