New 7 episode series on Showtime, directed by Ben Stiller and starring IBenecio Del Toro, Paul Dano, and Patricia Arquette. Based on the true story
prison escape of two inmates that befriend and use a female prison worker to help them escape an upstate NY prison. Anybody watching? I'll likely
start it this week but haven't heard much one way or the other about it.

Took a bit to get rolling, but really good. Can't wait for next episode.

Yeah it took her about ten minutes into the first episode to fuck a guy!

Caught the first episode last night and like you mentioned, a bit slow out of the blocks it was well done. Acting has been really good and
yes, Arquette could definitely be nominated for an Emmy or something for the performance. She looks like a hot mess.

She looks identical to the real Tilly, they did a great job. Kinda disappointed Arquette didn't show some titty in any of those scenes. Tilly's real husband looks identical to the guy playing his naive ass. Stiller did a great job so far, love the music too.. imo this should have been 3 ninety minute episodes not seven 60 minute ones.

Yeah, she does look like the real lady, which is to say ugly as hell.

We haven't been able to find time to get past the first episode but hopefully will knock a couple out this week before heading out of town for the holidays.

Finished up episode 3 last night so half way through. I have been impressed overall. Stiller does a good job directing. My guess is these guys will
be escaping by next episode.

Wrapped this up over the holiday. I thought it was a very well done series. I actually found myself kind of caring about these criminals when all was
said and done and they were on the run. I think Ben Stiller could have a very fine career as a director if that is the path he wants to take. My wife and
I really liked the performances by Arquette and her husband in the movie.

Stiller threw a wrench into the works in Ep6 in regards to "cheering on" the escaped inmates. I was actually a little pissed how I was manipulated for 5 episodes.

Ever watch Dateline? Stiller Datelined me.

I talked to my wife about that and how episode 6 was a real curveball. She said that the movie wouldn't have worked near as well if they moved episode
6 up to like episode 2. I think she was right, as I don't believe I would have cared about these guys anymore, but I was already invested so needed to
finish the damn thing up.

Like I said, I felt manipulated. I still enjoyed the series but that was a black mark. "Don't Dateline me, Ben, that's cheap, you should be better than that".

I thought the stuff in six could have been sprinkled in rather than wasting a whole episode. And the last episode felt long and tired.

But I liked the show/story overall. The acting was good.
