Limited series on National Geographic. What a missed opportunity this was. The beginnings of the "social networking" goes back to the Netscape days. But the creator and producers of this show try to make it weirdly hip or off the wall or something. The interviews are interesting, even though the filter making everyone have morning dew eyes is awkward...all of the scripted stuff is just obnoxious and terrible. especially when they break the 4th wall and talk to the camera. there is no reason to mix in the meta stuff and it just ruins the whole watching experience for me. couldn't get through the first episode because of it.
