Outstanding movie. Viggo Mortensen plays a guy who gets hired to drive a black pianist around to performances in areas that a black man was not treated very well in many cases back in the 1960's. Mortensen is great and the guy that plays the pianist is really good too. Sebastian Maniscalco has a small part as Viggo's brother in law and does a good job too. Worth the time and price of the ticket for sure. Along with A Star is born and Bohemian Rhapsody in my favorite 3 movies of late. The relationship between the 2 leading characters is great, with each character growing as a result of the interactions with the other.

Couldn't be bothered to look up the name of the black guy?

Everyone who has seen this has said how great it is. I need to check it out.

Looks like a good movie, though from what I've read the two main characters were never actually friends in real life. To me it doesn't matter if the movie is good, but some are bothered when they promote it as a true story.

I wanted to see it when it came out but never did. Viggo is one of my favorite actors.
