Common belief that the books are always better than the movies, but of course there are some exceptions.

The Natural (depends on if you like the happy ending or the sad ending better)

Not so sure on Misery. The book and movie are so totally different. The movie is very well acted and very dramatic. The book is way more gory and dark.

I think "The Firm" movie is a lot better than the book.

Not that either of them was some earth-shattering addition to the arts.

The Virginian. That book is hard to read. The movies sort of sucked, too, but the tv series is pretty awesome.
