All the hipsters here and no talk about this show....?

Saw it Friday nght,,,3 AM ish...found it by accident...thought it was a Movie...was excellent..

next day I am reading "Experts" articles and all the things they found wrong with it...but then you see the comments and peoples reviews and this is a hit...has a little dexter going on...

This could be your hit show right now...True D2, Baller, Brink....might need to take a back seat...

Wed night, USa, episode 2....

Either way, still surprised no commentary on this show...

no, but I did buy a goral hat in Poland. I showed my dad and he looked at me like I was white trash that brought back a sleeveless t shirt from a trip to cancun

Fedoras are out. The only people left wearing fedoras are neckbeards.

Speaking of cable, does anyone else ever go digging around for something, find about thirty feet of co-ax, and be like "why in God's name do I still have this?"

I dig the show. Very interesting how they handle the character inner monologue and all. Very entertaining and not trying to be over the top with the actual "hacker" interactions, at least not as bad as other shows. They actually show cli interactions.

Yes. I have an entire Rubbermaid container in my basement filled with many of those, along with DVI and some other jazz. I want to toss them but I always say, "You might need it sometime."

And there it stays for another lifetime.

I watched the series premiere last night and really enjoyed it.

Certain aspects of it--taking down the credit economy, the protagonist's "delusions", the secret society--seem borrowed from Fight Club, but they're still done well.

The show has a lot of ideas and some interesting characters--I'll keep watching.

Agreed ... kinda like a Breaking Bad take on Fight Club.

Yeah, seems that way. I tried to convince myself he's playing the character detached and aloof for some grand purpose to be revealed later; not getting much traction in my head with that.

Without a DVR I'll be lucky to catch parts of two more episodes ... you're elected to be the episode summary guy.

He stole the show in The Pacific HBO miniseries. This guy's acting is always very intense. Hopefully he gets Emmy considerations.

Saw the second half....but it basically ended with the Hacker group finding some documents that linked Evil Corp to cancer causes that killed Elliots mom...Elliot saw it on the news, went to the 'game" room. didnt say a word, walk in, everyone stared at him, he takes out of the lap top, plugs is the ethernet....and wait till next week...

Some other scenes...some gay sex...some of Elliot hacking the Bf of the girl he likes...actually pretty graphic butt sex for USA...didnt think they did that,

Guessing it was one of those episodes setting everyone up on defined sides of the line....now comes the fight.

I think that is exactly the point...

The show started so intense, then they need to go with EVIL Corp as the bad Guy....Thats all they can come up with in this cool show? EVIL Corp? Is someone really going weith EVIL as a company name...if they are trying to fly under the radar doing bad stuff?

And too much Slater....he is ruining what was going to be intense show...as Elliot is now ready to attack EVIl Corp...could get very cool...or maybe it goes like Game of Thrones and we need to wait 4 years for a battle!

Not sure if you are serious about this or just sarcasm but the Evil Corp name is in his head. It is what Elliott calls it so the show being from his point of view leads to all mentions of the company being evil Corp.
